Highly recommend the view is very good and will return when I come back again

1. I asked the boss outside the door (I didn’t know who he was at first) and he said with a playful smile that he didn’t have a room, but he could book it on Ctrip. Seeing that my race was wrong, I didn’t want to be accommodated. He told me that he was the boss and I could leave. 2. Do you need more towels? Yes, it’s really annoying; 3. Excessive charges, I have already paid for children on Ctrip, the front desk still has to charge extra; 4. Not soundproofed, wooden room, walking upstairs, there is a banging sound below; 5. Not recommended for everyone to go live

Except for the front desk service, I am basically satisfied.

We had a great time and the room was great. We got upgraded upon our arrival to a 3bedroom all en-suite ap with a view to die for. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic every morning and the on site French restaurant was delicious. On top of that the staff was great and offered plenty of help when needed. If ever back in grindelwald we will be staying there

We would like to say thank you to all staff for a very good hospitality. Our apartment was very good equipped, clean, warm and with amazing view. We had own space for our car in very safe garage. Highly recommend!

Group of 13 ( 3 families ) We stayed in 3 lovely apartments at Chalet Roi; fully equipped with amazing view from balcony in total peace on the main road. The apartments hd everything we ever needed. Located at 15-20 min walking distance from Grindelwald train station. There’s bus stop outside the apartments and you need the bus timetable to plan. Last bus from Grindelwald is 6:30 pm. We had a major glitch in our complimentary drop at station early morning. The hosts arranged to pick up at 5:10 pm and drop us at 6:30 am accepting our special request. The complimentary pick up & drop shuttle is only between 7 am to 5 pm. A night before when we went to the office to confirm our drop at station, they informed that they don’t have any driver and can’t drop us. They simply said sorry as they couldn’t manage anything. They gave us a taxi company no but the taxi company had no free taxis. There were no buses so early so the group of 13 had to drag all our 13 suitcases to the train station at 6:30 am 1.5 km away. Overall we loved the hosts, the apartments & Grindelwald and would love to go back in blink of an eye !!! Strongly recommend Kirchbuhl apartments!!

I stayed in Double Room Economy for 3 nights. The room did not look anything like in the photos (attached are a photo of my room and the photos from ***********). The room was outdated and not modern as in the photos. It was also situated under the roof and was very hot during the night, even with all the windows open. I barely could sleep because of the heat. I complained to the reception on the first day, asking to change a room to another one based on the above. The man at the reception told me that the hotel was full that day so it was not possible. After having left towards my room, I realised that the room could be changed the next day. I returned to the reception to suggest this and the man was visibly annoyed but said that he would check and get back to me later. He did not try to reach out to me during the stay.

The only complaint I have is that the outlets didn’t work that great with my grounded universal converter. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The room is extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Just outside of town so quiet but easy to get to shops and restaurants. Amazing views and very helpful staff. Great on site restaurant as well.

Wonderful hotel, staff are super helpful and can not do enough for you. The beds are super comfy and there are great views from the rooms and restaurants. We ate in the traditional Swiss restaurant and the food and staff were great. Complimentary cake for all residents between 3 - 5pm everyday. Can not find any fault.

Wouldn’t recommend- Room was noisy, issues with hot water, bugs in the room. Worst night of our trip and so thankful we only had one night here. Wouldn’t book again and surprised that this hotel has received good reviews and is at this price point. Did not meet the 4 stars on the door- maybe 30 years ago.

I have been staying at chalet apartments at the Hotel Kirchbuehl since 2003 and the experience only gets better. The location of the hotel high on a hill facing the Eiger and a 10-minute walk to the center of the village is perfect: a mountain experience with "urban" facilities nearby. Rooms and apartments are charming and impeccably clean, dining great with service in the main restaurant and in the small Swiss room, plus on the terrace in good weather. Service personal and friendly. My favorite hotel!

This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are lovely and the food excellent. We especially like the Hilty Stübli restaurant. The staff is kind and helpful. We have stayed here many times and would not think of staying in another place in Grindelwald.
