Hotel Cabana Reviews

Wow! That really sums up our experience of staying at Hotel Cabana in one word. A lovely family-run hotel that is small enough to be super-friendly, without compromising on standards. We had a spacious room with a balcony providing stunning views of the valley, and the Eiger. Chairs with warm rugs, and a table meant this was a comfortable place to sit and simply absorb those views which changed as the light shifted during the day. Inside the spacious room, a small table and chairs made a thoughtful addition for those wishing to eat there. A fridge, a kettle, cups, glasses, bottle of water and complimentary bottle of red wine from the hosts on arrival all helped to make this feel like home for the two weeks we were there. There was always ample hot water and as well as replenishing the tea/coffee when the room was cleaned daily, there was an additional selection box of teas at reception from which guests could select at any time. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and although there are no evening meals served here, the hosts were more than happy to book restaurant tables or taxis on our behalf. They also helped to identify useful contacts for activities in the valley. A ski room with heaters,meant our wet gear was dry and warm for the next day. And, although we didnt use them, we noted that a small lounge area (with drinks and snacks to purchase), a sauna and a fitness area were also available. We had the most wonderful stay and would highly recommend Hotel Cabana
