We reserved few months ago , they took 100% of the money in advance, kept our money for months and now they canceled without refunding saying that the river entered into the hotel. Everywhere in Gstaad is snow only this hotel has water. Probably is situated on the river so I dont advice to stay you there because could ruin your holiday Canceling in the last moment after we paid car rental, sky instructors and we can not find other hotel in Gstaad .. Also they kept our money so yes thats fun. Avoid them

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und 5* wert. Leider mussten wir damals im März noch im Restaurant des Hotels essen, da aufgrund Corona alles geschlossen war. Im Restaurant wurde am 1. Abend der Wein vergessen, am zweiten Tag gleiche Tagessuppe wie am Vortag (Resten), dies galt auch für den Cake am Morgen, Früchte beim Frühstück geschimmelt. Bei dieser Preisklasse ein No-Go. Auf die Reklamation an den Hotel-Direktor kam bis heute nie eine Rückmeldung. Es sind wohl eher ausländische als schweizer Gäste willkommen. Schade für das schöne Haus.

Bar und Hotel geschlossen während der Zwischensaison, kein Problem, trotzdem unvergesslicher Aufenthalt Positiv • Exclusivität der Hotelanlage • Aufmerksamer Service und Betreuung • Hochwertige Suiten Einrichtung • Bulgari Pflege Produkte im Bad • Spa und Spa Anwendungen • Privatkino • Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Negativ • Bei Ankunft etwas unaufmerksamer Empfang, Fahrzeug musste selbst entladen werden, nachdem niemand kam.. • Kein Welcome Drink, oder Erfrischungstuch, Früchte oder Pralinen auf dem Zimmer oder persönliche Begrüssungskarte des Hoteldirektors • Trotz kalter Küche in der Zwischensaison, hätte das Kontinental Frühstück auf dem Hotelniveau 5 Sterne Superior, etwas kreativer gestaltet werden können.

The true meaning of 5 star hotel, very professional young staff, it is like you are in tour own luxury home. There is private shuttle to the promenade. They can provide portable AC. Kids room. Private cinema. And the fine dine is a must to try Special thanks to Christine, Alvaro & all the staff.

The absolute best hotel stay I have had in Switzerland this far. From the check-in to day of checking out, staff at Ultima do their best to ensure that your stay is comfortable and personalized. Enjoyed all the perks that came with the stay, including the awesome services by Ralph, our shuttle chauffeur for my stay and also Anna for showing us the room and facilities in the hotel. The spa swimming pool is divine and the in-house cinema experience is also wonderful! Will definitely come back if I ever travel back to Switzerland. A top tier hotel with amazing staff!

Stunning hotel in the middle of the mountains. The perfect place for a weekend escape, relax and sport activities. Food in the restaurant was Michelin star level, the chef, Andrea Franceschi took very good care of us. Ultima Spa was another great experience, with outdoor pool and sauna. Looking forward to come back next year.

This hotel is phenomenal. There are only 17 rooms/suites, so nothing is ever over crowded and the care and attention of the staff are unparalleled. They provide car service to everything, dinner, ski rentals, drop off and pick up at the various gondolas. Made it the easiest ski experience of our lives. The ski room also warms/dries your boots and gear, with a very nice area to put on boots, etc. Lise’s recommendations for dinner reservations were top notch. And the various pools, sauna, hot tubs and steam room were amazing. Will absolutely return. What a wonderful trip.
