Accès aisé .Bel accueil.Bons conseils boissons-mets. Succulents plats gouteux.Me suis " régalée".Ai pu deguster le foie gras avec du chutney mangue et dattes accompagné d' une brioche grillée puis l' excellent pigeon très tendre entouré de petits légumes avec une purée légère et pour finir la tatin revisitée.Tout fut délicieux.Non obséquieux .Cadre cosy. Que du professionnalisme et de la gentillesse.Agréable de pouvoir parler francais .Merci et à bientôt Grand parking

Esse hotel fica ao final de uma grande subida e como diz o nome. Trata-se mesmo de grande chalé. Lindo. Serviço impecável, quarto muito agradável, vista deslumbrante, café da manhã muito bom, wi fi sem críticas e, para coroar a experiência, um restaurante nota 1.000. Em outras palavras, não precisa sair para comer fora ! Tudo de bom. Recomendo muito.

Un établissement magnifique qui met à l'honneur l'hôtellerie suisse ! Tout est parfait : l'accueil chaleureux et très professionnel, le charme et le confort de la chambre, une fine cuisine bien maîtrisée. Le service est également très attentionné, agréable (on devine le sourire et la gentillesse sous les masques :-) ). Et bien entendu l'endroit, surplombant Gstaad, est idyllique. Surtout avec le soleil ...et la piscine ! Un grand merci à chacun-chacune et bravo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Christian Ochsner

Das Hotel befindet sich in bester Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht leicht oberhalb von Gstaad. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber gehalten. Schön ist, dass die Zimmer abends für das Zubettgehen vorbereitet werden. Das zugehörige Restaurant verfügt über eine erstklassige Küche. Das Frühstück ist qualitativ gut, aber doch eher ideenlos und durchschnittlich. Es ist nicht nachvollziehbar, dass das Restaurant auf sehr hohem Niveau geführt wird, aber das Frühstücksbuffet deutlich hinter diesem Standard hinterher hinkt. Was de Freundlichkeit des Teams anbelangt, so gibt es hier Unterschiede, die für uns nicht zu diesem Haus passen. Etwas mehr Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit wären durchaus angebracht. Wir können das Grand Chalet für kürzere Aufenthalte jedoch empfehlen.

We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed The Grand Chalet a lot. The location is 10 minutes walk out of the center and extremely quiet. The building has been refurbished and looks like new and offers most facilities of a high level hotel. The major positive point is however a truly wonderful, numerous and welcoming staff (This must be noted as it is unfortunately so often a weak point in the Swiss hospitality sector). The room was large enough and we appreciated the nice wooden floor but our only, relative, disappointment, was with its very basic furniture that looked a bit out of place in an otherwise nicely decorated house. Equipment was also minimal with no possibility to make coffee or tee in the room. This is a bit mean for a place that is all but cheap ! The hotel has a small but very nice spa, unfortunately they chose to install some fitness machines in the same room making the relaxation area minimalistic, in fact only 2 people at a time can enjoy it, which is a shame. Excellent wifi, free parking. All in all a good address
