You might think something like the following: “The rooms in this hotel look quite good, and the price is very reasonable for Guangzhou: what’s the catch?” In this case, your intuitions would be largely correct: the rooms are quite good and the amenities are plentiful - the location, however, leaves a lot to be desired. You are nominally close to Jiaokou station, but the walk there will add so much time to your trip that you’ll end up taking the bus more often than not. The environs are not particularly nice: you are on a small side street in a neighbourhood of small shops and endless construction sites. Service (at least in my experience) is also weak: the bathroom fan didn’t work in our room; we contacted the front desk about it; they sent someone up and said it’d be fixed ASAP: it was never fixed.

The location is excellent. It is very conveniently close to the Huangsha subway station. There are large shopping malls nearby with everything for food, clothing, and just walking distance from Yongqingfang. It's just that the decoration of the hotel is a bit old. The superior twin room only has one electric plug, which is not enough. The service is okay, recommended to stay.

The front desk answers all your questions and even offers you water when you sit downstairs. Transportation: It is very close to the subway entrance. It is very convenient to take the subway to many nearby attractions. You have to walk over an overpass to go between the subway and the hotel, so it's a bit tiring to carry your suitcase. It may not be convenient to drive, so you have to park at a shopping mall. A small problem: the mobile phone signal in the room is not very good. Sometimes two people’s mobile phones cannot get a signal. If you want to make calls or receive verification codes on your mobile phone, you must go out to find a signal or go directly to the first floor. This is not very convenient. It is recommended that the hotel check whether this is a common problem in all rooms and investigate the cause and solve it. I haven't eaten at the hotel's buffet since I woke up too late in the past few days. I'll try to experience it next time I have a chance to stay in the hotel.

When checking in, the guy at the front desk took the initiative to say Happy New Year; he is friendly to children and gave the baby a small dragon balloon as soon as he entered the door. 3. The hotel facilities are very new and complete. Generally, hotels only provide shampoo and body soap. This hotel also has conditioner, plenty of hot water, and a large amount of water. The air conditioning is very powerful. However, there are no plastic slippers, only disposable ones. Fortunately, the floor in the shower room is relatively non-slip. 4. It is also very safe. You need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel. There are fixers on the windows both inside and outside the room to avoid accidents.

The location is excellent. It is a half-hour walk from Liwan Park in Liwan District, Enning Road Cultural Street, seafood market and Shamian. It is a quarter-hour walk from Ruyifang subway station on Line 6. The most recommended thing is that the hotel is directly behind the river. On the side, the room has a river view. The hotel's customer service was very good. Because the induction cooker was not working, they provided us with a microwave. The only drawback is that due to the room type and the humidity and heat in Guangzhou itself, the loft bedroom has no windows, so the ventilation problem can only be solved through air conditioning. It is recommended that the washing machine in the house be cleaned regularly, after all, it is provided for residents to use.

I think this is the best hotel in Guangzhou. Very clean, very quiet, excellent location, behind the barrier. The bed is luxurious, the toilet is smart, there are plenty of towels and small accessories. Smart system in the room, but this is for those who know Chinese. The view from the window is gorgeous. You can't see anyone from the window, only the city and the river. Ask for the farthest room from the elevator. Spacious room. Roof fire. The staff is at maximum speed, running, helping, fussing. Breakfast is Chinese, there is nothing to eat, but you can make yourself oatmeal or order soup. The most important thing is that it does not smell like cigarettes!!! At all! Perfect. Some kind of creative place around. Art space.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

I always stay at their house every time I come to Guangzhou. The front desk is very good, the environment is nice, and there are a lot of food and drinks nearby. The best choice in Fangcun. We helped to delay check-out under special circumstances. Thank you very much.

The hotel is very good location towards the popular street, and, shops and, restaurants. Surrounding the area has many restaurants with nice and delicious foods there. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful and polite. The hotel room that's we had booked is very clean and comfortable, too. We could like to stay in this hotel again, when we're going to planning it again.

The location is convenient and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The lobby and room design looked modern. However cleaning could improve- there were stain ( still wet ) left on the coffee table in the room. The hallway and elevator looked a bit worn. I wish the lights in the room could be brighter. Breakfast had reasonable options and the taste were ok, but the coffee machine didn’t work. the floor in the breakfast room was very slippery- felt like it was oily. Definitely need some serious cleaning. Service was good from all the staff that we met.
