Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

The room was very clean and looked very comfortable! The room service lady was very kind and even offered to upgrade the room. The hotel is also very close to the subway. I hope I can stay here again next time if I have the opportunity! The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It is ten minutes away from the subway station. The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk staff has a good attitude. Overall, I am very satisfied! It was very comfortable to stay and the environment was good. I personally liked it very much.

Standard convenient hotel decoration, newly opened, so the facilities are very new, but there is no smell of decoration. The shower hot water is very comfortable, the only bug is that there is no hook in the shower room, and it is not easy to change clothes. The hotel is very close to the subway station, about 500m, and it is very convenient to various attractions. There are also many dining options nearby. The hotel's parking lot is a bit cramped, the parking spaces have to be grabbed, and it is not very friendly to self-driving tours.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at both Hampton by Hiltons I stayed at in Guangzhou (the other was the sports center one). This one had a big leg up, over most Asian hotels actually, which is that the air conditioning was on! It was nice to sleep in a cool 18C :) The staff here was wonderful, for example immediately after I checked out I asked if there was a microwave to heat a leftover burger I had. I was taken to the restaurant and the desk staff heated the burger and allowed me to dine in the restaurant area while it was closed. This was greatly appreciated. Like the other Hampton hotel it seems quite new, has a very innovative light switch setup that I love, and the bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Location is a touch far from the metro but manageable and taxis are plentiful, walkable to nice areas including the amazing sculpture park and its attached parks. Note the Google maps location for the hotel is wrong, it's located in the large open space directly northeast of the Ziyuan Comprehensive Market shown on the attached screenshot. Enjoy!

The room is large in size, and the hotel can be seen from Metro 🚇 Line 8. It is too convenient to travel. The attitude of the front desk clerk and the room attendant is very good. Front desk receptionists are polite and helpful. Hotel lobby has a self service coffee and tea machine. Hotel is located about 50 meters away from Caihongciao metro station through either exit gates A or D. Needs to cross a pedestrian road and a side lane to reach the hotel. Hotel room is clean but slightly small. Near to shops and restaurants.

There were some cockroaches before check-in, some evaluations were unhygienic, this problem was that problem, but after check-in, the room was spacious, bright, clean, and everything was there.
