Baili Hotel

The hotel was horrible,  to start with the name in trip is not the same in the logo or the hotel sing and then to get to the hotel we have to take our bags by our self to the forth floor and there is no elevator in the ground floor you have to carry your suitcase through the stairs by yourself. The room was very bad small and dirty, the shower head was broke the water has leaking out the bathroom floor was full of water and the toilet was broke too and you got close to it, it automatically flashed, also who ever use the toilet in the next room or showers we could hear everything. We checked out early and they even didn’t ask anything. Horrible hotel not recommended at all. You can see from the pictures that we actually stayed there just for one night and we checked.

We stayed at Baili Hotel for our last few nights in Guangzhou, before leaving China. Baili Hotel is located in the Liwan District, very close to Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, which is lively at night until about 10pm. At night, there are food stalls downstairs from the hotel, mainly selling Chaoshan fried noodles or barbecue skewers. We stayed in a Guest Room (double bed). The room was spacious, but the bathroom was small. A key issue of our room was the shower. The shower was very small, with limited room to bend down or shower comfortably to wash my hair. The drain was small and didn’t drain quickly, so water would build up on the floor, and leak outside the shower because the door and panels weren’t completely sealed. We had to put our hand towels on the floor to help soak up the water that leaked out. Our room had a window but it was only about 1m wide and doesn’t reach the whole room. This wasn’t a big issue for us because we weren’t in our room during the day, but there are no windows in the bathroom, and the bathroom light was quite harsh. The hallways were rather dim, and smelled a little musty. I didn’t use the gym or laundry, but they are as pictured online. The hotel reception is on level 4. Tip: The streets around the hotel are one way only. If you need to call a Didi and want to reduce waiting time, consider which direction you are going in and walking to either end of the street so the car doesn’t need to do a big loop around the block because of the one-way traffic.

location was the best as it is near alot of tourist attractions which was very convenient,for room wise,its okay but i have to compliment the hair dryer as it is light and big wind.
