酒店在大學城，靠近黃埔軍校舊址，旁邊就是黃埔造船廠，離廣交會場館比較近。酒店原先應該是部隊招待所，早餐可以和士兵一起吃飯。房間比較大，但裝修一般，晚上比較安靜。打車不是很方便。

房間出乎預料的寬敞整潔，酒店外觀看起來有年頭了，但裏面翻修了，非常棒，美中不足就是沒有電梯，不過這個價位已經是很好的選擇了，服務人員也非常熱情，下次去長洲島還會選擇這裏。

這是個內部的招待所改造的，有個大院可以停車，然後院子裏還有個餐館可以吃飯，樓下還有訓練的，早餐一般般，房間重新裝修過挺新的，沒電梯就三層樓，很安全，因為外人很少。有個很大的亮點是標間的床是1.5米的，都可以住四個人了，缺點是套房的床也1.5米，一家三口就不好睡了。
