Hotels in Yong Qing Fang/Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou

Location is very convenient and mrt is just few mins walk from hotel. The room quite small and no fridge but they have free laundry services picked up fr your room n send over once done if stat long period. I stayed for 6 nights. Beijing street is just nearby too but tried to avoid weekend as it is super crowded.

I had a very comfortable two-day stay here. The queen-size bed was huge, The pillows were fluffy and soft, allowing me to sleep soundly every night. The hotel’s location is excellent . there are convenience stores and several restaurants within a 30-second walk, many of which stay open late at night. The porridge from a nearby street-side shop was surprisingly delicious. The breakfast buffet was also nice, especially the porridge and fresh fruit. The hotel faces a main road, with a pedestrian bridge nearby, making it easy to catch a taxi in any direction. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting me with my room extension and breakfast arrangements. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, thanks to the comfortable environment.

location was ok (around 8-10mins walk from train station), walking distance to beijing lu street (less than 5mins). cant hear much from the escape room downstairs but the sound proof is not very good. can hear people slamming their room door.

Every time I visit Guangzhou, I stay here. It used to be Holiday Inn, now it's Vovo. I choose it for the convenience; there are several dim sum restaurants nearby, though the once bustling Shangxiajiu is now quiet. I've stayed here a few times since the renovation. This time, I got an upgrade to a family room with a kids' bed, even though I booked a king-sized room. I didn't end up using the kids' bed. After the renovation, there's no bathtub anymore, and no smart toilet upgrade. I'd suggest installing a shelf in the shower for toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and razors, as not everyone uses the hotel's products. My small shaving cream even fell on the floor because there was no place to put it.

The hotel is conveniently located near Xinmenkou station with walking distance. The hotel room is exactly as advertised - clean, spacious and with modern designs. Their staffs are all very helpful and friendly. Especially shoutout to 2 Xiao Jie Jie (Ms Tang and another girl who on night shift) helped me out during my stays. Honestly, City Join Hotel feels like a five-star hotel at a down-to-earth price, the overall experience far exceeded my expectations for the price. 👍🏽

Pros : - Underground walkway from Station Huang Sha to the hotel, need no worry of rain or shine - Friendly and helpful staffs - Will try to fulfill the guest request (based on availability) - Accessible lift to floors/rooms - Over the bridge to Sha Mian island - Amenities fully equipped - Bed and pillows were comfy, had a great night - Supper and hitea are provided for free to in house guest - No rain shower, but shower head pressure was bearable and soft drops on the body - Parcels collection on behalf is available in the hotel (best to inform ahead) I managed to get a late checkout during my stay and did not have a rush schedule back to the hotel for checkout. Thanks for your hospitality, I'm happy with my stay here.

Helpful front desk and friendly staff. Me and my family having a nice stay. It was difficult to find a hotel in China where there is are no coacroach at least the five on my stay. Room cleaning is provided every day. Good hospitality from the cleaner suggested us where the pharmacy is due one of my family member was sick. Near Yong Qing Fang exactly an ideal location where to citywalk. Good security door card and elevator accessibility is secured. Downside is sound proof is a little bit poor but still acceptable, also hope they will replace a new dryer because It takes 4 hour to completely dry the clothes. Another favourite hotel added to list for me in GZ.

The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were all well-equipped. The service was also good, and it was very convenient for getting around, being very close to the subway station. My only minor complaint is that the shower water pressure was a bit low! I also found out that Xihua Road is just one street behind the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay in this cozy hotel. The service staff members are very helpful and we also liked the breakfast. The location is superb, just above a metro station with two lines and there are lots of eateries in the basement linked to other malls as well. It’s also close to many tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel occupies two levels in an office building and the only inconvenience is that the lifts that are shared with the office staff, so the wait can be long sometimes and they rush to enter before you get out. The Didi drivers also seem to have difficulty locating the hotel. Best to indicate the pickup/dropoff location as Guangfa Bank. I don’t mind staying here again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and all the rooms are on high floors, offering incredibly expansive views. It was super comfortable to sit by the window and enjoy afternoon tea, with a clear view of the Canton Tower. Beijing Road is right downstairs. The service was also fantastic; everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are well-appointed and comfortable. The room itself was clean and tidy.
