Hotels near White Swan Pond in Guangzhou

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

The hotel is located in a very serene environment. It is one of the many well preserved and architecturally beautiful buildings found here.One cannot help should one dwelled into its nostalgic past. It is convenient to go places from here as Didi service are readily available . The facilities here met ones expectation, especially it's self service laundry facility, which is user friendly. The hotel restaurants serve both western and oriental cuisines and we thoroughly enjoyed the Dim Sum served by its Chinese restaurant. I cannot find fault with the services rendered by the hotel staffs from the room services level up to the manager. We were offered one free breakfast voucher each because there was a two hours plus power cut during one of the nights during our stay. A nice gesture indeed. I must especially mention one front line staff, Niki 黄, her very warm, and charming personality is most appreciated. I seem to have forgotten all the tiredness and disappointments of the day whenever I bump into Niki upon returning to the hotel from an excursion. Thank you Niki, 加油。 I definitely will check into this hotel again should I visit Guangzhou again.

Facilities: It feels like a B&B hotel. It is an old-school western-style building combined with modern minimalist decoration style... You can lie on the bed and enjoy the large-screen Xiaomi projector. The bedding is just right and comfortable, and disposable toilet seats are thoughtfully prepared. . Hygiene: clean and tidy. Environment: Located on Shamian Second Street, Shamian Island, it has a beautiful environment and is quiet in the bustle. Across the street is Shamian Primary School, nearby is Talent Island Leisure Island, Shamian Art Center, and close to the Pearl River... Service: considerate and enthusiastic, not only discounted the room rate, but also upgraded the room type for free.

I think this is the best hotel in Guangzhou. Very clean, very quiet, excellent location, behind the barrier. The bed is luxurious, the toilet is smart, there are plenty of towels and small accessories. Smart system in the room, but this is for those who know Chinese. The view from the window is gorgeous. You can't see anyone from the window, only the city and the river. Ask for the farthest room from the elevator. Spacious room. Roof fire. The staff is at maximum speed, running, helping, fussing. Breakfast is Chinese, there is nothing to eat, but you can make yourself oatmeal or order soup. The most important thing is that it does not smell like cigarettes!!! At all! Perfect. Some kind of creative place around. Art space.

The hotel is old, but old enough to be comfortable. There was a lady on duty at the front desk who seemed to be in charge. She had a great image and was responsive to all requests. The room has everything you need. Upgrade to a king bed room with a balcony, where you can drink tea and chat in the balcony garden.

I didn’t take many photos of the interior of the hotel, so I’ll try to make it up with three pictures. I’ve stayed in a lot of bad hotels at home and abroad this year, but my stay in this one was quite comfortable👍 Facilities: Complete, there is a projector in the room to watch movies and TV series (but I don’t know why QQ Music members automatically log out immediately after logging in), there are washing machines and dryers on the floor, and there are conference rooms available in the lobby on the first floor. The lighting in the guest room is sufficient and has a small brightness, which can control the smart home. Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy. As a new hotel, there is no obvious decoration smell and there are no mosquitoes, which makes people feel more comfortable. Environment: Located next to a fish market, you will smell the obvious smell of aquatic products when you go out, but the environment inside the hotel is still very good. Just outside the subway entrance is a shopping plaza with many restaurants. If you like to play games, you can also go to the ns experience store in the shopping mall, where you can choose machines and cassettes, including PS. Service: The service is quite attentive. The front desk answers all your questions and even offers you water when you sit downstairs. Transportation: It is very close to the subway entrance. It is very convenient to take the subway to many nearby attractions. You have to walk over an overpass to go between the subway and the hotel, so it's a bit tiring to carry your suitcase. It may not be convenient to drive, so you have to park at a shopping mall. A small problem: the mobile phone signal in the room is not very good. Sometimes two people’s mobile phones cannot get a signal. If you want to make calls or receive verification codes on your mobile phone, you must go out to find a signal or go directly to the first floor. This is not very convenient. It is recommended that the hotel check whether this is a common problem in all rooms and investigate the cause and solve it. I haven't eaten at the hotel's buffet since I woke up too late in the past few days. I'll try to experience it next time I have a chance to stay in the hotel.

The location is excellent. It is very conveniently close to the Huangsha subway station. There are large shopping malls nearby with everything for food, clothing, and just walking distance from Yongqingfang. It's just that the decoration of the hotel is a bit old. The superior twin room only has one electric plug, which is not enough. The service is okay, recommended to stay.

Good location. But air con is not so well functioning (room 26) although outside weather is 16-17 degrees. Water leaking from the air con vent for the 2 days. More suitable for young couple rather than family

The hotel is very good location towards the popular street, and, shops and, restaurants. Surrounding the area has many restaurants with nice and delicious foods there. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful and polite. The hotel room that's we had booked is very clean and comfortable, too. We could like to stay in this hotel again, when we're going to planning it again.

The hotel stands along the river, with a Riverside Park next to it and Shamian Island on the other side. It is in a superior location and is convenient for travel. Compared with hotels of the same type, the room price is really not expensive. The hotel room is very clean and well-equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is healthy and delicious. The most important thing is that the hotel service staff are warm and polite, the service is considerate and thoughtful, and you feel like home. All in all, it was a great experience to choose this hotel for a family trip!
