The front desk staff are very untrained and unprofessional especially the girl with the glasses and the blonde. I recommend you stay elsewhere. They ruined a great vacation trying to rip off foreigners. First they wanted me to cancel my reservation so they could charge me more. Then they told me I used the minibar which I didn’t and double
Charged me as they didn’t restock it from the day before. So I paid twice. They can’t check it on the computer as they write it all on paper a clear sign they arent reporting that income. So they steal from you. The girls yell back and forth to the girl upstairs. Extremely unprofessional. If you are an English speaking person forget this hotel. They don’t speak english at the front desk. Total joke for sure a huge place.

Hot water wasn’t working. Maintenance had to come twice and it still quit working. Room was too hot and there is no air conditioning. Bar across the street had a band playing until midnight so we couldn’t sleep.

Between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. touring Helicopters are flying directly above the building. It is loud, very loud, if your room is located in that corner of the building. The waiters bring drinks and food to people enjoying jacuzzi. It is not hygienic. Kids try to swim in that jacuzzi. One adult person has brought a big ball which has jumped out of her hand making a generous water splash into person sitting beside. Jacuzzi is not a place were you can relax.

Impuestos neta de pagar, ya que cuando fui a pagar ustedes hoteles.com decían el valor total era $620.000 y cuando llega al hotel o sorpresa el total era $720.000 la verdad deberían de especificar todo de una vez a la hora de realizar o la reserva

My wife and I celebrated our fourteenth wedding anniversary here, it's a beautiful and romantic place. The hotel is located on the road to Guatape town, after passing the Peñol Rock. We stayed in a room with a beautiful view of the Guatape dam, very comfortable and clean. The restaurant offers delicious local and international food. We did tour by the dam in the Majestic yacht and toke the dinner there, it's a very romantic plan. Also, we visited the Guatape town, and we walked through its streets and along the pier. I recommend knowing the town and to see the zocalos that decorate the facades of the houses, they are wonderful place to take nice photos. The negative point is that near the hotel is a heliport where they offer tours for overflights of the dam, this generates noise that it can be uncomfortable during the day. However, I understand that they wanted to move it to another place so that people would not feel uncomfortable.
