We only stayed one night before an early flight, but it was a great experience! The staff couldn’t have been nicer. We got upgraded to a suite with an awesome bathtub. It was very easy to get an Uber to the airport early in the morning.

I had an excellent weeks' stay at the Westin and would certainly chose again. Only a couple of minor negatives: as mentioned in many other reviews, the bathrooms/showers are very slick when wet. Maybe consider a mat in the shower? Also it would be nice to have the coffee pods replenished without there being a charge -- this is fairly standard in upscale hotels. It would also be nice if they could exchange more than $100 for Q's per day but I understand they are not a bank and atm's are close by. Pro tip: make sure to bring crisp untorn bills to exchange. Cindy at the front desk was always very helpful and had a fantastic service attitude! My flight was 12 hours after my checkout time and I was so grateful that Cindy provided me with a pass for the pool and exercise facilities for the remainder of the day -- at most I was hoping they could hold my bags (which was done). This little extra will ensure me looking at Westin/Marriot for future stays! The restuarants and bar inside the hotel were also excellent, with amazing service!

Awesome place clean location the best the best food in excellent service

Stayed 3 nights for business. The property is nice, looks like a few years ago it must have been a very nice and luxurious hotel. My room was well kept but showing some age, especially in the carpet and bathroom. There is a nice pool and well equipped gym. Location is great, close to many restaurants. Overall it is a good hotel, but rooms could use a renovation.

My teen daughter and I stayed at the Westin for three nights and this is the first time I've been back there in 20 years. I had forgotten how lovely the hotel is! The lobby, dining areas, pool are, and rooms were all very clean and beautiful. The pool cushions are covered each night to protect from rain, and the pool is maintained regularly to remove fallen leaves; the pool area is filled with lush trees and plants. The fitness center is extensive, with numerous separate rooms for weights, spin classes, yoga classes, and cardio equipment. When we arrived, it was Saturday before Easter, and there was a beautiful example of sawdust carpet just inside the lobby for us to enjoy for the holiday. The breakfast buffet was spectacular, with many options for fruit, yogurt, breads (even a donut tree!), meats and cheeses, Guatemalan foods, eggs, and much more; there was an omelet/egg station and a crepe/pancake station for made-to-order selections. Also available were fresh juice varieties, and even a table filled with coconuts where you only had to grab a straw and take it with you. We enjoyed 3 mornings of breakfast and one evening meal; I highly recommend the Surf & Turf Tacos. One day by the pool we shared a plate of Nachos, which was fantastic. Our room was very nice; we had plenty of bottled water each day, the towels were soft, and the beds were comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. There is an ATM on site, which was very convenient. Cab fee to the airport was $10 and could be paid at the front desk or at the concierge. I will not wait another 20 years for our next visit.
