3-Star Hotels in Guayaquil

In order to catch a plane, I chose this hotel, which is very close to the airport, with good links, and swimming and fitness. The service is good, the room is very comfortable, and the toiletries are delivered as soon as you need them!

Guayaquil in Ecuador, if not for the special situation of 2020, Chinese people rarely pass. The hotel is located on the Malecon Riverside (across a local main road) by the famous local Guayas River. Before arriving in Gua, I contacted the hotel in advance to arrange a pick-up by email. After leaving the airport, I could find myself holding a sign. The pick-up fee was paid to the front desk of the hotel at $10, and the driver gave a tip of $2. The superior twin room booked is large in size, and the room is also equipped with a small refrigerator and a table, and slippers are not provided. There are wall-mounted air conditioners. The front desk of the hotel can speak English and has a very good attitude. After arriving, I found that the business center was closed due to the epidemic, but the front desk could still help with printing. There is an open space with a roof on the second floor of the hotel, with tables and chairs, and a swimming pool next to it, which coincides with Christmas and a Christmas tree. The hotel provides a free breakfast buffet, which is changed every day. The beef there is very good. There are a lot of people in the breakfast room on weekends, so pay attention to protection. The only minor problem is that our room is close to the road, which is a bit noisy at night, especially because of cultural reasons, the locals like to drive by modified cars with super loud speakers all the way at night, but just get used to it. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center, such as the City Hall or Iguana Park. You only need to cross a road along the river. There is also a supermarket called Mini nearby to buy food and daily necessities, but there are many restaurants suitable for Chinese people. Less, usually the solution is to order takeaway in the hotel room, recommend the takeaway software Glovo, English interface, some dishes have pictures. Uber is recommended for calling out. Overall I am very satisfied with this hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was okay. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spacious, you could also use the small fitness room. Breakfast okay, the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared. What bothered us are the poorly insulated windows: because of the street noise, it was quite loud in the room early in the morning. We found the ”art” that decorates all the hotel walls took some getting used to - but that should be very individual 😊

I always stay at DC Suites when I’m traveling through Guayaquil. It’s clean, safe, and economical. I like the secure transportation to and from the hotel. When I arrive in Guayaquil by bus from Cuenca, or by plane, they are quick to pick me up, and text a photo of the driver who is coming to get me. For a woman traveling alone, this is very important.

Hotel is beautiful and secure. Food was excellent as well as service. My one piece of advice for management. Please put water and coffee stations on 18th floor throughout day and mainly at buffet breakfast. You are working your employees to death running around filling coffee and water. My thoughts are you could greatly benefit on your employees morale and customers ease of access. I understand the full service at lunch and dinner but everyone staying here should have full access and ease to coffee and water without having to wait or flag down employees. I liked the location, close to the Malecon, parks, shopping, banks and restaurants. The hotel has an elevator and I was on the top 4th. floor in a large single. Too large since the 40 ” tv was too far from the bed on the opposite side of the room. Keep in mind this is an older hotel and the furniture is spartan and the bed was hard but o.k. for me. Bathroom was remodeled and the shower had an all glass front. Plenty of hot water but tricky to maintain a nice temperature. Wi-fi is excellent! Staff was helpful. I had central air with no controls except off and on so I just toggled it, an inconvenience, but I turned it off at bedtime since it was not hot. It seems not as hot as previous years perhaps due to a change in the clime or maybe subjective. The California Restaurant is adjacent to the hotel.

The front desk staff and the cleaning aunt are very nice and they should be given a raise.

What a surprise this nice little hotel was! We just stayed one night before a flight and it was perfect. It's close to the airport. The desk staff was incredibly nice (and spoke perfect English). The room was clean and simple. The decor isn't anything to write home about--well, maybe the giant mirror along a wall by the bed is notable. But you will feel welcome and safe here. The breakfast was lovely. Just a quirky and sweet little place of excellent value. It's close to the mall so there are plenty of options for getting some dinner nearby as well.

I think breakfast is bad and the way to serve inside the restaurant doesn't take air doesn't take anybody and if someone comes out of the kitchen gross to say that there only has the eggs broken there and not there any more bad breakfast
