Resort Hotels in Guilin

Amazing hotel, I guess it has been renovated recently . The room is magnetic, and the staff can speak English quite well . Swimming pool, jacuzzis (3 of them), sauna and steam room, excellent gym with table tennis 🏓 equipments makes this property and excellent place to stay. Breakfast was excellent as I am a huge fan of Chinese food, not much of western food, but there are kids station, bread, coffee (good one) , sausage and bacon, and several other options of pastries such as croissants and danish. Thanks XiaoWu小伍 for the amazing service guiding us around the rooftop, taking pictures of us, and giving assistance providing all the important information on how to enjoy the hotel facilities . the only bad thing is the costumers , a huge amount of them smoke everywhere although there are signs saying the whole property is forbidden to smoke. The hotel should remove the ashtrays in front of the elevators . Unfortunately it is a problem in China when you go to hotels and makes very unpleasant the shared ventilation bringing smoking smell into other people’s room.

Hotel is located at the centre of Guilin. It is close to elephant trunk hill and tons of restaurants. It offers free Guilin art experience. My son got to learn ancient printing and art work. The food street is just right behind the hotel and 15-20mins walk to Dongxi lane and jingjiang prince palace. Excellent service. We left our power bank and they sent it back to me. We had a great time there.

It was great time to stay at Shangrila in Guilin. All workers are very nice and kind. One of the worker even helped my son blow his nose! The hotel is just beside the river so it’s nice to take a walk. By using share bike, it takes 15 min to get the city side. I think it’s convenient enough and ridding share bike during trip is also good experience. Our highlight is the last night with Peach & Aries at the bar in Shangrila. Their music was awesome and they also let my wife sing with them. Playing some Japanese songs means a lot to me.

Right across from Elephant Park Scenic Area. The manager Alice speaks English and was very helpful. I got upgraded to a room with a view, which was very nice. I also bought the “extras package” which included a fruit plate, drinks, and a 1 1/2 hour visit to the park with a photographer. He doesn’t get paid by the hotel, but you can choose 5 photos free and then pay 20 rmb for the other ones you like. He knows all the angles and places, although I wish I had more time in the park just on my own. Breakfast is good, with DIY noodles and everything you would expect. The room was clean and spacious. I came in too late for the pick up service, but was given 50 rmb of my 100 rmb fare reimbursed. There is a nice rooftop bar on top! I would recommend for sure. Especially if you are just there for the night.

The hotel is located by the beautiful Rong Lake, with a superior geographical location. You can enjoy the scenery at any time. The hotel has complete supporting facilities, the lobby and restaurant are elegant and chic, the guest rooms are clean and sanitary, and the service is particularly thoughtful, especially the receptionist Meng Yan at the front desk. She is beautiful and kind, and her warm and thoughtful service made us feel at home. Next time we come, we will stay at Guilin Hotel again. It is cheap and good quality, and it is worth it!

The rooftop on the upper floor of the hotel is really beautiful. The clear pool water and the blue sky make it easy to take beautiful views. Recently, I have lived here in Guilin several times. The rooms are spacious and decorated with Guangxi characteristics. Downstairs is the shopping mall for eating and shopping. Very convenient, love it so much! give it a like!

We had a good family stay at Grand Link hotel. We are foreigners in China and have 3 kids under the age of 12. All staff were helpful and accommodating to us. We especially enjoyed the large pool (they put out the lawn chairs and tables/umbrellas on our second day to visit the pool. not sure why they weren't out there on the first day). The garden in the center of the hotel was lovely and the kids really enjoyed feeding the fish. The location was such that we had to grab a didi everywhere we wanted to go, since we had kids who couldn't walk very far distances. It was super simple to get a didi though, and usually about a 10 minute ride wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

I went to Guilin for business again, and I chose to stay in Zhongshui again. Because it is close to the train station and next to the park. The air is good, the mountains and trees are green, and it is quiet, so I can sleep well at night. The Zeng Family Courtyard nearby is indeed affordable and delicious. The ingredients are very fresh and you can eat with confidence. The weather was good this time, so I walked in the woods and enjoyed the flowers. The breakfast ingredients are also fresh and rich. It is cost-effective. I will stay here again next time I go on a business trip.

The hotel was newly renovated in 2023. The location is very good. It is right on the Li River and only a few minutes away from East and West Alley. I negotiated with the front desk to get a quiet room on the inside. The front desk was very nice. The only drawback was that the pillow was too high, so I slept on the backrest all night. The next day I asked customer service for a thinner pillow, but it turned out to be too low. Anyway, the hotel is very good.

This hotel was honestly a great stay if you wish to stay close to a few attractions. I had a two days stay but just a day to roam around and was able to do the Sun and Moon Towers, The Glass Bridge as well as Elephant Trunk hill all in one day. I also did Reed Flute Cave but that was a taxi ride away. The breakfast served was really yummy and they had a wide variety of options. They had toast and eggs, fresh fruit, rice, noodles and lots of other dishes. The hotel itself was very clean and I enjoyed the staff as they always greeted us when we walked into the main lobby area. If you happen to order in as I did on my last day, a robot will bring your food to you. Overall it was a great stay with modern facilities and thirty second walk to the lake. The rooms however although advertised as ‘lake view’ were only views of trees with maybe a tiny glimpse of the lake. Overall it was a great stay and I’d totally choose this place again.
