Although we only stayed for one night, both the elderly and the children were very satisfied. The grandparents' king room faced the Twin Pagodas directly, offering a superb view that they absolutely loved."

"All the photos were taken in my room and on the hotel rooftop, showcasing the beautiful scenery. The hotel is super close to several famous attractions, and I could even see Elephant Trunk Hill and the Twin Pagodas from my room. The room itself was clean and well-equipped, complete with a mini-bar and welcome fruit. The service was excellent, and the hotel's dishes were quite refined. Although the bar didn't have a huge cocktail selection, the bartender made some delicious drinks. Breakfast was also good. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a great start to my Guilin trip."

"Kind staff. Very helpful, I would stay here again. The room was great. They had an opening and upgraded us for free. We paid for an extra day on accident and they refunded us. They took packages for us. They were great. The hotel was pretty great. The room was cute and the 5th floor had a patio that had a beautiful view of the mountains to sit and eat food or work at. I wish we got to stay longer One of my favorite hotels yet."

I initially chose this one for its value for money, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much more I got than what I paid for. The price was likely lower than comparable chain hotels, yet the overall experience was absolutely on par, if not better."

"The staff told us that the rooms of the booking were too humid because of the rain, so they move us from floor 2 to floor 4. The two rooms were nice and clean and with all the amanities we need. The staff has been really nice. They helped us also to find a travel agency for the cruise on the river, the ticket costs 360rmb for a 4 stars boat and the agency charged us 20 rmb more per person for the bus to the hotel to the pier, a nightmare. Leaving at 7:30 for the departure at 9:30 and more than one hour with a guide that spend half of the time trying to sell products. So the hotel is really nice but the suggestions less."

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and parking was convenient. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time, highly recommend!"

The facilities are complete, the sanitation is in place, the price is good, the stay experience is very satisfactory, and I will choose next time."
Rezen Chaokong Hotel (Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area Two Rivers and Four Lakes)
"This is supposedly a 4-star hotel, but the facilities and service are more like a 2-star. The room hygiene was appalling, with dirty corners everywhere and long hairs tangled on the sofa cushions. There were also unclean marks all over the floor. The room wasn't newly renovated, just refurbished. Out of the large windows, only one could open about 10 cm; the others were completely sealed shut. Most concerningly, there was a dead cockroach by the window near the fridge. The window frame was an ugly old brick-red, clearly left over from an older hotel. There was no full-length mirror or makeup mirror, which are basic amenities even a 4-star hotel should have. The booking package included afternoon tea, but the front desk didn't inform us how to use it during check-in. No one mentioned it during our two-day stay. On the third day, during check-out, we saw other guests enjoying afternoon tea in the lobby. When we inquired at the front desk, they told us we couldn't use it after checking out. While the package might not be worth much, it's not about the value of the tea, but the front desk's attitude in handling things, which fell far short of a 4-star hotel's service standards. It was truly disappointing."
