I have traveled to more than 30 countries over the past 12 years, and this is the first time I have truly felt that I could call a hotel ”home”—even though so many hotels try to create that feeling. We live in France and flew to China for vacation, hoping to experience both the peaceful natural wonders and the lively local culture of Yangshuo. This hotel’s location is perfect! It sits directly in front of the Li River with an unobstructed view, yet it is just a short walk to West Street and the harbor. We could easily switch between a peaceful, relaxing session overlooking the river and an energetic exploration of the local crowds. Taking a warm bath while gazing at the river and mist-shrouded mountains—all while enjoying local tea and sweets—was an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is brand new, featuring excellent and spotless facilities, including a 24-hour free self-service laundry and a rooftop with stunning open views. The design beautifully blends modern style with local Chinese Zhuang culture. On top of that, the hotel offers free access to local ”Ta-Ying” activities, photo shoots in traditional minority costumes, and discounted tickets for popular local shows like Impression Liu Sanjie. Most importantly, the hospitality was extraordinary. The team treated us with immense care and kindness from the moment we arrived until well after we got back home to France! They used professional translation devices to ensure seamless communication. The hotel manager, Ms. Ni, along with front desk staff Ms. Deng and Ms. Li, not only responded attentively to every request throughout our stay, but also provided invaluable advice for exploring Yangshuo. We were even given a thoughtful gift set when checking out at 6:00 AM, followed by a warm message once we returned home. This level of hospitality truly deserves to be recognized and appreciated. I am deeply grateful for their professionalism and hard work, and I wish the entire team and the hotel all the best!

Yangshuo Scenery Family Hotel ✨ Enjoying the Yulong River Landscape from Your Bed Stumbled upon a hidden gem of a family hotel in Yangshuo while traveling with the kids. The location is absolutely amazing, with layered mountain views to the left and direct access to the Yulong River on the right – the natural scenery is just breathtaking. The first floor has an indoor children's play area and a huge lawn, so much fun that the kids didn't want to leave. The infinity pool on the second floor is perfect for kids to splash around and play, totally enhancing the vacation vibe. The rooftop observation deck is incredibly photogenic! Sipping afternoon tea with a breeze, you can take some truly beautiful photos here. Breakfast was rich in variety and delicious; the kids ate their fill. The staff were super friendly towards children, service gets full marks. The room itself was fine, but the window view was a bit disappointing. Even the hangers in the room felt a step down from those in the balcony rooms, haha. Breakfast for 25 yuan was pretty good, with a decent variety of choices. The rooftop observation deck is great for catching the sunrise, though whether you actually see it depends on the weather. And having a dedicated shoe washer and dryer was a really thoughtful touch!

Great stay in Yangshuo! We encountered a minor issue during our visit, but the staff handled it quickly and efficiently, which was a huge relief. Our family room was spacious and perfectly laid out for a family. The views from the window were absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the ethnic costume photo experience, which added a wonderful atmosphere to our trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Five-star review | Family stay experience at Sugar House Yangshuo ✨ Our family of three chose Sugar House for our trip, and the overall experience was perfect, highly recommended for families with kids! The hotel, a renovated old sugar mill, blends industrial architecture with the stunning Guilin landscape, creating an incredible atmosphere where every photo looks like a masterpiece. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view from the balcony. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, responding quickly to any issues. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in – the attention to detail was excellent. I have to rave about the two activities our child loved the most! The infinity pool had clean water and was backed by the karst mountains, making splashing around incredibly fun. Adults could also relax and enjoy the scenery. Then there was the delightful 'hanging basket snack' activity: when the rattle drum sounded, we'd lower the bamboo basket from our balcony and receive a basket full of snacks. Our child absolutely loved it and was always excited for this part, which felt fresh and new every time. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were authentic and delicious. The hotel's public areas were beautiful, and there were several family-friendly activities, so we didn't need to go far to have a fulfilling time. It truly felt like a vacation, and I highly recommend it for families. We'll definitely be back!

This room was fantastic for our family! It's super close to West Street and parking was very convenient. The hotel has a lot of entertainment facilities, we didn't even have enough time to try them all, especially since the service was excellent. First time staying here, and overall it was a great experience. The fish recommended by the hotel was delicious too!

The indoor afternoon tea area has an amazing ambiance; every photo taken there is a masterpiece 📷✨. The hotel also features a kids' playground 🎠 and an outdoor pool 🏊, making it easy to keep the little ones entertained. The rooms are clean and tidy with excellent attention to detail 🏠. The breakfast buffet offers great quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles taste superb 🍜. A good breakfast sets you up perfectly for the day ahead. Located by the Li River, with smooth access to the underground parking. It's also very close to the commercial district, making dining and getting around super convenient. Again, the rooms are clean and tidy with great attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is high quality, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles are truly delicious.

Our family of three had a fantastic stay here! The hotel grounds are huge, and our child absolutely loved the peacocks roaming around – we'd often spot them, which made the trip really fun. The room was spacious, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk even provided children's amenities. The facilities are comprehensive, with a kids' play area, a swimming pool, and even a sightseeing train. The back gate leads directly to the Li River. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were delicious. Some facilities are a bit dated, but it didn't detract from our vacation. We didn't even need to leave the hotel to keep our child entertained. Our child still talks about the peacocks, so I highly recommend this for families with kids.

Arandor Hotel offers excellent value for money overall. The two buildings are cleverly laid out, and it's just a 50-meter walk to the lively main street. Right outside, you'll find a variety of delicious food options like Master Fu Beer Fish, authentic Guilin rice noodles, and Guming bubble tea. The hotel features an outdoor pool, and their e-scooter rentals are very reasonably priced, making it super convenient to explore the surrounding attractions. The biggest surprise was the hotel's exclusive observation deck on the 8th floor. The views are absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the karst peaks and picturesque landscapes. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves photography; the atmosphere is truly enchanting. The staff are very responsive and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently. Afternoon tea includes local specialty snacks, and the lobby offers free, refreshing Luo Han Guo (monk fruit) water all day. The only minor drawback is that with the recent heavy rains in Yangshuo, the room felt a bit damp. It would be even more perfect if the rooms were equipped with refrigerators. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yangshuo!
