"Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk staff upgraded our room for free. Our new room was on a higher floor with a spacious balcony offering expansive views, complete with a round table and two lounge chairs. The hotel is right next to Shan Lake, so from both the window and the balcony, we could enjoy not only the lake view but also the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Another major highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. We could easily walk to the boat dock, Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, East and West Alleys, Elephant Trunk Hill Park, and Duxiu Peak Scenic Area. The breakfast offered a good mix of Western and Chinese options, catering to different tastes. All in all, everything exceeded our expectations, and our stay was fantastic! Many thanks to all the hotel staff!"

GGuest UserI made a last-minute decision to visit Yangshuo and luckily stumbled upon this hotel. It's perfectly situated near Yangshuo West Street, just a few minutes' walk away, surrounded by plenty of local specialty snacks. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and upgraded me to a mountain view room, which was perfect for my love of taking photos. The room itself was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bedding was spotless and very comfortable – I slept soundly without any noise. It even had a projector for entertainment, and the breakfast spread was quite varied, featuring local specialties like Luosifen (snail noodles). The hotel staff were all very patient, assisting with itinerary planning and booking tickets. I stayed for two days and had a wonderful, enjoyable time. I'll definitely bring my family back to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserUbud Villa was definitely the most pleasant surprise of our Yangshuo trip; it made our stay absolutely perfect! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo. The hotel is located in Ubud Town, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The moment you open your window, you're greeted by endless karst mountain views. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the sunset paint the distant mountains red in the evening, the air is so fresh it feels like a natural oxygen bar. The overall design is a French retro-chic luxury style, crafted by a renowned designer. It features simple lines and sophisticated colors, with large floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountains and water beautifully. The courtyard is surrounded by lush greenery and flowing water, creating a private and healing atmosphere.

GGuest UserAtmosphere: The environment is beautiful, and the rooms have a white, resort-like feel. The biggest highlight is the view from the 7th-floor rooftop, where you can see layers of mountains, even more mystical with the morning fog.
Facilities: Well-equipped.
Service: Warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The recommended charging station was very useful.
Location: Near the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, not far from the Yulong River.

GGuest UserThis hotel was absolutely the right choice! The location is fantastic, right next to the Guilin Romance Park, just a short walk away – super convenient. It's not too far from West Street either, but without all the noise, and getting there is easy.
My family and I were really impressed with the hotel's ambiance; we loved the decor. If you enjoy taking photos, you'll get some amazing shots here. As soon as you enter the room, the balcony offers expansive views of Guilin Romance Park and the mountains opposite, with mountains behind the hotel too. And the hotel's windows are incredibly, incredibly clean, making the view so clear and giving you that feeling of being 'immersed in the landscape.'
Although there's construction in front of the hotel, you barely hear anything once the door is closed, so it doesn't disturb your rest.
The facilities are also incredibly comprehensive: a tea room, meeting rooms, laundry room, gym, and a rooftop pool – everything you could ask for, and all of high quality. The sofas and chairs are very comfortable, and the shower water pressure is excellent, making for a fantastic shower!
It's also very kid-friendly. There's a small ball pit downstairs where we put our baby when it was sunny; he had a great time, and we got some relaxation. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the dishes even changed over the two days we stayed, so we didn't get bored. There's also an adjoining Western restaurant downstairs, which was very convenient for meals.
I also have to praise the service; the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive.
Overall, our stay was absolutely perfect. If I come back to Yangshuo, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. Oh, and I highly recommend Guilin Romance Park too; the activities are rich and varied, making for a truly fulfilling experience!

YysunI stayed here back in 2017 and it left a deep impression. Nine years later, I've brought my family to check it out again, and it feels like the hotel hasn't changed much; it's still very well-maintained overall. It seems to be quite popular internationally now, as I'd estimate nearly half the guests are from overseas. The Chinese restaurant at night, however, wasn't as good as I remembered; there's definitely a lot of room for improvement.

GGuest UserThe buffet dinner dessert at the first-floor restaurant was delicious and not overly sweet. The seasonal welcome fruit in the lobby, tangerines, were also tasty and sweet. The accommodation environment was quite beautiful, and the staff were very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. Electric scooters are available for rent, and bed rails can be provided for babies to sleep safely.

AAnonymous UserTraveling by car was a breeze, as parking was very convenient. The lobby felt grand and luxurious. Our mountain view room directly overlooked the stunning scenery, and soaking in the large bathtub while enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. We got some amazing photos at the Sky Mirror on the 9th floor, especially on a misty day, perfectly capturing the ink-wash painting beauty of Yangshuo. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both beautiful and delicious. The location is also fantastic; we were just a few minutes' walk from West Street, making dining and shopping super easy. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and highly recommend it!

YYecaiI've lost count of how many times I've been to Yangshuo, and this time I chose this hotel primarily for its location. Previously, I stayed by the Yulong River, which was a bit far from West Street. The last time I was by the Li River, so this time I opted for a more central spot.
Overall, I'm happy with the hotel. It has a free parking lot, and I noticed they even have EV charging stations.
The breakfast is simple but plentiful, offering bread and pastries, fruit, Guilin rice noodles, vegetables, and main dishes. I especially enjoyed their fried rice.
They also offer free lunch, which, though simple, definitely saved me a lot of money, especially since I was traveling alone and finding places to eat can be a hassle. In the evening, they provide a complimentary dessert soup before bed. Food-wise, they really have it covered, and there's afternoon tea, plus water and snacks in the lobby.
There's a laundry room where you can wash and dry clothes, which is a great amenity.
The location is ideal, situated between West Street and Ten-Mile Gallery, making it convenient to get to either. The hotel also rents out electric scooters, so you can just hop on one and go.
My room was spacious, and the hot water was hot and strong, which is really important. The wet and dry areas in the bathroom were well-separated. The window offered a view of the street outside, and you can see the Li River from the rooftop. The soundproofing was also good.
The bed was comfortable, just a bit too soft for my personal preference, but otherwise, it was fine.
The hotel staff's service attitude was excellent; they were very accommodating and helpful.
I only have one suggestion: it would be great if the rooms could have a towel rack or basket for used towels, as there isn't a suitable spot for them currently.

EEmma CallowhillThe overall stay was okay but not somewhere I would rush back to. The service from the majority of the stop on reception was poor. Despite requesting a non smoking room, my parents were given a room that stank of smoke. It took them nearly 4 hours to get a room that was appropriate.
Initially we were promised a new room in 30 minutes. However, the room they were given was ‘clean’ without a door that locked and plug sockets that didn’t work. Their initial response was to use extension leads in place of the plugs (see photos attached) and repair the door which still wasn’t done by the time they moved rooms for 3rd time.
To get the room changed, again, my husband had to to go reception and request an upgrade with access to the club lounge to the inconvenience caused (as we lost our first afternoon). The hotel permitted this request but honestly their attitude leaves a lot to be desired and they clearly don’t like foreigners as they were talking about us and didn’t think we could understand.
The facilities were okay. The gym and indoor pool were great. The spa is expensive given that there are many local spas just a few minutes away in a taxi. The outdoor swimming pool had no water in it so we couldn’t use it.
The buffet restaurant was good. The palace restaurant was very chaotic and not somewhere I would choose to eat again.
We liked Guilin but we’ll be staying somewhere else next time unfortunately.

The front desk service attitude was very good and helped me get a taxi. I left something in the room when I checked out and they took the initiative to contact me and helped me send the courier. There are many snacks near the hotel. It is convenient to go shopping in West Street at night. You can rent an electric donkey to go to the Qiangu Scenery Area, which is very convenient [strong]
