Guest User📍Yangshuo – So 'city' staying inside the 20 RMB banknote with the kids!
Ever since I became a mom, traveling has been all about avoiding hassle. This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. It was so worry-free, I nearly cried tears of joy! @Yangshuo Chen's Garden Resort Hotel
📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids
The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds.
🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details
The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away!
📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots
The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard.
💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home
The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out.
Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿

Guest UserThe best decision I made on this trip to Yangshuo was staying at Su She. From the moment I got out of the car and they helped with my luggage, I could feel the attentive, butler-style service. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet; she not only helped me plan my itinerary but also recommended some amazing local restaurants – absolutely no duds! The welcome fruit upon check-in and the sweet soup at night were really a nice touch, making me feel right at home. The guesthouse's location is perfect – quiet yet convenient for getting around, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Next time I bring my family, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Anonymous UserThe floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos.
I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival.
**Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures.
**Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding.
**Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening.
It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch.
There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal.
This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

Guest UserWe had a great experience staying at Four Seasons. The actual name of the hotel is Four Seasons Fairyland Resort. Special thanks and shoutout to their staff who were brilliant and made our trip so special. They’re constantly available on WeChat and would fulfill all our requests in no time. They even helped us in booking tickets for Yangshuo Impression show. I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was inclusive of breakfast but we never woke up in time for breakfast because the bed was so comfortable to sleep on. I even left my cap in the didi taxi whilst returning to the hotel and the staff sat with me for 30 minutes and made sure the didi taxi driver brought my cap back to the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay and keep up the great work!

Guest UserThis hotel is absolutely wonderful! I loved everything about it – its grand scale, excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, and strong reputation. It's just a fantastic place all around 😊. The location next to Elephant Trunk Hill's Gate 1 is incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to the night shift staff member who was on duty when we arrived at 1 AM. He was so attentive and patiently answered all our questions; truly outstanding! After years of traveling and staying in countless hotels, this one easily ranks among my top favorites. Highly recommend!

TongyayayaHighly recommend Jiyun Shangyuan, it's the top choice for a family vacation in the Ten-Mile Gallery! The entire house features panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to gaze directly at the karst peaks from your bed. The family rooms come with a children's tent and a full set of kids' amenities. The bathroom is clean and includes a scenic bathtub. The hotel also boasts a children's playground and a mountain-and-water swimming pool. The second-floor restaurant offers breathtaking views, and the breakfast rice noodles are authentic. Guests can also enjoy free Zhuang ethnic costume photo opportunities and experience making embroidered balls. The butler service is attentive and discreet. Away from the hustle and bustle of West Street, it's perfect for a relaxing getaway with the kids.

Guest UserFirstly the location is spectacular, which is the main reason we booked. The view from the room was really beautiful and it was easy enough to get to the old town by boat. Secondly the owner was so lovely and helpful and helped us organise many activities, and even accompanied us on a few. The staff are very responsive and helpful on wechat and helped us organise activities and meals. The dog was also a big highlight for our kids, especially my daughter who even cried about leaving him. The terrace is lovely too and has an amazing view. The meals cooked for us were very nice, and breakfast was adequate. The room is ok, a bit basic but met our needs. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are not sound proof, and therefore you hear every sound in the corridor and stairs. We travelled with young children who go to bed early and they struggled to fall asleep with the noise of kids running, playing and screaming in the hallway. It may not be an issue for those going to sleep later, but for us it was tough. The staff however did respond to our feedback and asked the kids to be quiet, but you do still hear people moving around outside. Overall I would recommend.

Guest UserIt is the second time I stay in this hotel and I love it very much. I returned this time to bring my mother here!
The hotel's location is great, by the river and close to nature. There are the waterlily ponds around the hotel and you can hear the delightful little frogs croaking at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The pool is also very pleasant, as are the many activities offered here, and you can rent a scooter easily for convenient transport around.ation is great, by the river and close to nature. Guest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

Anonymous UserGreat location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.
