The location is great, making it easy to arrange transportation. It's right at the end point of the bamboo raft cruise, so you arrive directly at the hotel. It's the first hotel in the village and has several restaurants nearby. The environment is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with a Yulong River tributary flowing right in front. The hotel even offers electric scooters for exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery. Both the hotel and the rooms are very new, clean, and well-equipped. The service is excellent and attentive; all the staff are polite and greet you warmly. They deliver a fruit platter, nuts, and candied fruit to your room daily and proactively helped us plan our itinerary. The breakfast is delicious, and the 5th-floor restaurant offers the best views. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I've stayed in many great guesthouses in recent years, but this one is probably my favorite, and the price is reasonable.

Choosing the Past & Present Hotel for my Yangshuo trip was absolutely the right decision! It's right by the Yulong River, so when you open the window, you're greeted by mountains and flowing water, with bamboo rafts drifting past – it's like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an incredible view. The bedding was soft, the toiletries smelled lovely, and the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. The housekeeper was attentive and always available when needed, without being intrusive. The breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. In the evening, they even offer a complimentary sweet soup. The infinity pool and large lawn are perfect for photos. The location is both quiet and convenient, with free parking. My entire stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo. Highly recommend!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations for our weekend getaway. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, just a ten-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, and it's surrounded by convenient dining and shopping options. No need to drive around looking for parking, which saved us a lot of hassle. The room itself was more spacious than I anticipated, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. When you open the window, you get a great view of the city skyline in the distance, and the night view after turning off the lights was also very pleasant. The bedding felt clean and soft, and the pillows and mattress had just the right firmness, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, the counter stayed perfectly dry, all the amenities were provided, and there were no unpleasant odors. The front desk staff, especially one gentleman, was very patient. He proactively reserved a high-floor room for us and even offered discount coupons for parking at the scenic area. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, everything tasted great and was fresh. Overall, the value for money here is excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next visit to the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip.

I found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

As someone who has travelled all over the world, this has been the best hotel I have ever visited. It feels more like a resort than a hotel. Every aspect was perfect, from the service, to the food, location, room, bed, shower, amenities, and beyond. It was so good I extended my stay. The location is incredible, as it is such a unique picturesque landscape that only a local village in China can provide you. I've explored different areas of this village, and I think this hotel has the best view. It's also a 20-minute hike down to the central village, which was really interesting to explore, especially during festival season. However, I feel like there is no need to explore outside because this place has the best view. The host and staff were all incredible, the warmest and most helpful people. The food was amazing..providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is seriously rich. There was so much variety, and the ingredients were so local and fresh. It tasted like healthy but delicious home cooked meals. The coffee is just as amazing. As I am a foreigner who can't speak Chinese, the host, who speaks English well, was able to help me with every aspect during my stay. Since this area is 2 hours away from the airport, I was worried how to get here, but the host graciously helped arrange a driver, and I was able to arrive safely. The host went above and beyond to help me and to allow me to feel at home. This hotel is very kid-friendly, but it is also amazing for solo travelers and business travelers. It is good for any type of traveler. I came here alone, partly to explore the area, but also to work. Their open lounge by the window with comfy couches allowed me to work while taking in the amazing oxygen and beautiful natural smells. The shower works great, and the washroom is really nice, with the smart toilet and all. In fact, the interior design of this hotel throughout is so thoughtfully well designed. I slept so well here, the bed is perfect and I had peace and quiet during my nights. Literally every aspect of this hotel was perfect and beyond my expectations. It's incredibly high value, and better than any actual resort I've been to. It is just such a unique place overall, but the hotel made me extremely emotional because it was so good, yet so relaxing, making me feel like royalty. Booking this hotel is a serious no-brainer. Do not hesitate and please book this place. It's a once in a lifetime memory to be made.

A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. Staff greeted us with smiles, processed our check-in quickly, and even proactively asked about our needs. When the weather was hot, they thoughtfully prepared fresh fruit (crisp plums) and iced drinks (sour plum juice, lemonade) in the lobby for guests to enjoy at any time. The room was clean and tidy, with dust-free floors and fresh bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was well-equipped (hair dryer, toiletries). The kids absolutely loved the tent and ride-on toy in the room, and there was plenty of space for them to play freely. On the 10th floor, there's a dedicated kids' play area with slides, a ball pit, and a picture book corner, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Built inside a renovated historic sugar factory, Yangshuo Sugar House combines the refined aesthetics of the mountain landscape with historical architectural elegance. ✨ 🚙🌾 The hotel offers various free and at-cost activities you can book through their concierge. We wanted to go see the Longji Rice Steps during our stay, which is about an 2.5 hour drive away from Yangshuo by car. I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us there and back over an 8 hour trip. Mr. Qin was amazing and very kind! He took us directly to buy the tickets and then drove us to the entrance point of the cable car. There was pretty extreme rain on the way back and he got us down the mountain very efficiently. It was an extremely memorable day which was only made possible by the hotel’s extraordinary attentive drivers and diligent concierge staff. ⭐️ 🍴The room comes with a daily buffet breakfast, free soft drinks, and fruit. The hotel restaurant is good, but breakfast is really where the food shines. So many delicious options to choose from, and there was adorable panda shaped buns 🐼 📸 The hotel also offers free travel photography on the premises, which takes about 30~ minutes and you receive 5 free photos, with additional available to purchase at 50 yuan. It was fun and very efficient! 🌸 Overall, a major highlight of our China trip & we wish we had stayed longer. Thank you again!

From the comfort of my bed or by the window, I had direct views of the mountains and water ⛰️. The decor is a comfortable, minimalist style – clean and aesthetically pleasing. The bedding was soft and cozy 🛏️, and the hygiene was impeccable, making for a truly reassuring stay. There's also a fantastic viewing platform on the top floor, with a 'Sky Mirror' effect 🌌 where every photo turns out stunning without edits. Plus, there's a pool for splashing around, instantly elevating the vacation vibe ✨. For those with kids, there's even a children's play area, allowing parents to truly relax and unwind! 👍

My friends and I were very satisfied with our stay at the New West Street International Resort Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by peaceful mountains and lush greenery. Waking up and opening the window to such beautiful scenery was a treat. The exclusive breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. The selection was rich and complete, with the Chinese station featuring authentic Guilin rice noodles, freshly cooked vegetables, steamed dim sum, assorted grain porridges, and various local side dishes – a truly heartwarming and comforting start to the day. The Western options included freshly baked goods, custom-made omelets, bacon, sausages, fruit and vegetable salads, and exquisite Western desserts. Additionally, there were seasonal fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, and a variety of drinks, ensuring a well-balanced and nutritious meal. I also noticed foreign guests enjoying the abundant morning feast. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, promptly responding to our inquiries. The hygiene was impeccable, the air conditioning comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent, making for a very pleasant stay. The nearby attractions are also very close. I particularly recommend the hotel's outdoor swimming pool for great photos; you can swim in both the morning and afternoon. It's truly a relaxing resort hotel, highly recommended.
