Came to Guilin with my best friend and we were so happy with our stay at the Versailles Hotel! The location is fantastic, the service is thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive. We loved the modern style and the environment was really nice and clean. It's close to all the main attractions and there are tons of great food options nearby. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – they were so enthusiastic and attentive, always quick to help with anything we needed. We really felt the hotel's personalized service and management. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

A heartfelt recommendation for anyone visiting Yangshuo! This hotel is perfectly situated along the Yulong River within the Ten-Mile Gallery, and its overall environment is simply impeccable. Open your window to an endless view of karst peaks, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The courtyard boasts lush greenery, and there's a viewing terrace and a swimming pool. Every corner offers a picturesque spot for photos. Unlike the bustling West Street, this entire space is tranquil and therapeutic. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, with a smart home system and TOTO brand bathroom fixtures, providing a wonderful living experience. If you're looking to relax, unwind, and escape the city noise, this is the perfect place. Its location is another huge plus, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can rent an electric scooter right outside to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery, and the Yulong River bamboo rafting dock is within walking distance. Attractions like the Big Banyan Tree, Moon Hill, Ruyi Peak, Silver Cave, and Impression Sanjie Liu, as well as West Street, are all just a short drive away. For those driving, there are EV charging stations and free parking spaces, making both cycling and driving stress-free and simplifying your travel itinerary.

Five-star rating plus 9 photos for my favorite B&B and its lovely hostess! Our family trip to Guilin Yangshuo this time had its ups and downs with the weather. It didn't rain as forecasted, but it was incredibly hot during the day. We ended up spending a lot of time at the B&B, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First off, the guesthouse was spotless, and everyone's service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We booked the New Chinese Suite, which had large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the afternoon, we were even treated to an afternoon tea. After resting, we rented electric scooters from the B&B and went cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery, which was fantastic. The highlight was definitely after dinner, enjoying the hostess's bartending skills at the B&B's bar. She's beautiful, has a cheerful personality, and makes excellent cocktails. We kept enjoying drink after drink into the evening. Next time when it's cooler, I'll definitely be back to Yangshuo for rafting and to stay at this B&B again. See you then!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They regularly checked if we needed anything and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was extensive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food to choose from every morning. One of the highlights was the spa. We enjoyed a traditional Thai massage on two consecutive days because it was simply that good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s laundry service. The lovely lady who took care of our laundry did an amazing job, and everything was perfectly clean, fresh, and dry the very next day. Her kindness and dedication really stood out. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Greetings from the Netherlands!

Seriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

The hotel's environment is great, the service is excellent, and I'm very satisfied. The location is also fantastic, right in the golden spot at the city center intersection. It's definitely worth recommending. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, and it's super convenient to get to scenic spots. Plus, the hotel can even help you book discounted tickets!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! I loved everything about it – its grand scale, excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, and strong reputation. It's just a fantastic place all around 😊. The location next to Elephant Trunk Hill's Gate 1 is incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to the night shift staff member who was on duty when we arrived at 1 AM. He was so attentive and patiently answered all our questions; truly outstanding! After years of traveling and staying in countless hotels, this one easily ranks among my top favorites. Highly recommend!

The room was large and spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a mountain view as soon as you open the curtains. They even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed family room. The breakfast was delicious, and the evening dessert drink was good too. Parking was convenient, with a huge free parking lot right at the entrance! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Location: The hotel is super convenient, just a 150-meter walk to Shuiedi Pier if you turn left when you exit. Breakfast: It perfectly suited our Cantonese palate, similar to the rice noodles and Guilin rice noodles we have back home in Guangdong – absolutely delicious! Although the variety of fruits for breakfast wasn't extensive, they were all seasonal, which was great! The hotel boasts a new Chinese-style decor. The lobby on the first floor is incredibly spacious, with a dedicated tea area. To my surprise, you can even play Chinese chess there! There's also a mahjong room, haha. Next time I bring my mom, she won't even need to leave the hotel to play mahjong. The kids' play area is quite large too, so next time I can bring the little ones along and they won't have to stare at their phones. The front desk staff, both ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly helpful, and their local tips were genuinely practical. The lobby even provided some common feminine hygiene products like disposable wet wipes, makeup remover, and facial cleanser – these little details were so thoughtful!!!! I must highly recommend the food at the restaurant; it was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable!

Guilin Lake Hotel boasts an excellent location – a tranquil oasis amidst the bustle, directly facing Guilin Lake's picturesque scenery. The garden setting is serene, and the service is warm and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel has a great foundation and top-notch views, but unfortunately, the facilities are a bit dated. I sincerely suggest the owners upgrade it to a Holiday Inn Resort. With IHG's standard quality and resort brand experience, it would perfectly suit Guilin's vacation appeal and surely become even more popular and competitive!
