Had a wonderful stay and giving it a solid 5-star rating! The hotel is in a great location on Shuanglin Road, Chenghua District, making it very convenient to get around with a short taxi ride to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road. The room was clean and fresh, the bedding was soft for a great night's sleep, and the bathroom featured a wet-dry separation with well-maintained amenities. The front desk staff were polite and handled the check-in process efficiently. The hotel also offers a gym and a self-service laundry room, which are super practical whether you're traveling for leisure or business. The breakfast had a rich variety, catering well to local tastes too. Overall, it offers great value for money with no unpleasant surprises. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu. Highly recommended!

Objectively speaking, the front desk service was excellent, and the hotel lobby and courtyard environment were also very good! However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and an indescribable odor in the room itself. When I got into bed after washing up at night, the duvet and sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. There was also a persistent smell of urine, which wasn't coming directly from the duvet or sheets, but it lingered throughout the night. I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep well. In the morning, I woke up with many red bumps on my arms and legs. I've booked so many hotels on Ctrip, mostly prioritizing a good environment, and this is the only one that has given me such a bad experience. It's the only hotel that has made me feel this uncomfortable. I originally planned to give feedback to the front desk when checking out, but there was a family of foreign tourists complaining, so I just left without saying much. Anyway, the service itself was commendable!

The room was clean and tidy, with a pleasant fragrance. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options. It's conveniently located close to Kuanzhai Alley, making it easy to get around. The front desk lady was beautiful and had an excellent service attitude. When we left, she even gave us cute panda headbands and bottled water, which made the whole experience fantastic.

The first thing I would like to mention is the attentive and friendly staff: reception, at breakfast, room cleaning - everyone was kind, friendly and helpful in everything. We got quick responses to our enquiries on Wechat - in the evening we asked about the use of appliances and a kind lady came and showed us how to use the washing machine and air conditioning. The girl at reception (unfortunately I didn't remember the name, but it's a very nice girl with glasses) always answered any questions we had. Also, she even remembered our parcels from Taobao ordered to the hotel and when she saw us, she told us they had arrived. And then helped us unpack them. You could really feel the care in all the actions. Next is a lovely big room with beautiful decor. The large round bed is cosy and soft and the bed linen is changed on request. Good housekeeping. Every day we had towels changed and bottles of water replenished. In addition, we could always get extra water in the lobby. And noticing that we leave the room later, they did not disturb us early in the morning. The room was quiet! Although there was one day when the tarmac was being laid at night outside with all the accompanying noise, but it really does not apply to the hotel. The air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly. We were pleased with the presence of a mini washing machine (laundry detergent is available and replenished) and steamer in the room - such is not often met in hotels. The hairdryer had good sufficient power. Sockets are universal. A bonus was a large mirror in the bathroom and a full-length mirror in the hall. Also on one of the days we were unexpectedly brought a plate of fruit in the room, it was very nice! The lift to the floors with hotel rooms is operated by guest cards, which guarantees more security. To name things that could be improved, it is a bit dim lighting in the room. Also the tap in the bathroom sink was tight and seemed a little unreliable. We had breakfast included - good, reasonably varied choice of food. The staff are friendly and keep a good eye on everything. They also remembered my preferences: I like to drink tea in the morning - and at one point they themselves came over and asked me if they could make me tea... so thoughtful! There is also afternoon tea with desserts in the lobby. Plus to the above, we like the location of the hotel - convenient, it's in an important central area with lots of shops, cafes, parks around, and metro stations close by. The only thing is, if you're with multiple suitcases, consider that the path itself from the metro is nice but uneven and runs along knobbly tiles and crowded narrow sections. Probably the best option with suitcases would be to take a taxi. Our stay all week was excellent. This is a hotel we would love to return to. Thank you!

The hotel is located in a central area of Chengdu, within walking distance to Taikoo Li and Jiuyan Bridge, making it very convenient for travel and sightseeing. The guest rooms are clean and spacious, offering tranquility amidst bustling activity, providing a peaceful resting space in the lively city center. Staff member Xiao Liu helped me extend my check-out time. He was warm and friendly, treating every guest with care. Self-driving guests can use free underground parking spaces, making travel stress-free. Here, you can experience the vibrant daily life of Chengdu up close, and retreat to your room to escape the hustle and bustle. Whether it's for a short trip or an urban stay, it is a good choice for accommodation.

There are PLENTY OF HALAL RESTAURANTS AND MUSLIM FOOD OPTIONS nearby, all very convenient to access. Even better, there is a MOSQUE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE! 🕌 For Muslim travellers, finding halal food and a nearby mosque can sometimes be challenging, but staying here made everything so much easier for my parents. This is definitely a HUGE PLUS! ❤️ THE STAFF – SUPER DAMN HELPFUL AND ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Now, the BIGGEST highlight of this hotel has to be the INCREDIBLE STAFF! I honestly cannot thank them enough for taking such wonderful care of my elderly parents throughout their stay. Their kindness, patience, attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond were truly exceptional. As a daughter back in Singapore, knowing my parents were so well taken care of gave me tremendous peace of mind. They didn’t just provide excellent service; they made my parents feel genuinely welcomed, comfortable and cared for. To the hotel management, PLEASE recognise these four wonderful ladies! They are truly an asset to your hotel and deserve all the appreciation and recognition possible! 🏨 BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, BALCONY VIEWS & AMAZING FACILITIES! The room was absolutely lovely, comfortable and well equipped! One of the highlights was the BALCONY, where my parents could actually watch cultural events and performances! Such a beautiful way to enjoy the local atmosphere right from their room. And something that deserves a SPECIAL MENTION: THE HOTEL HAS BOTH A BIDET SPRAY AND A SMART TOILET!!! 🚿😍 For Singaporeans and Muslim travellers, this is honestly such a HUGE BONUS! These facilities made my parents’ stay so much more convenient and comfortable, especially at their age. 😂 MY PARENTS DIDN’T EVEN WANT TO RETURN TO SINGAPORE! This is probably the BEST part! My parents enjoyed their stay SO MUCH that they actually DIDN’T WANT TO COME HOME TO SINGAPORE! 😂❤️ They even said they wanted to STAY THERE FOREVER! Imagine sending your parents on holiday and having them enjoy themselves so much that they don’t want to return home! That alone says EVERYTHING! As a daughter, seeing how happy and comfortable my parents were means the world to me. ❤️ FINAL VERDICT – 100/10! Beautiful rooms, wonderful balcony views, excellent bathroom facilities, plenty of nearby halal food, a mosque within walking distance and, most importantly, TRULY EXCEPTIONAL STAFF! Location: Around 30 minutes from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) via Didi, depending on traffic. Taikoo Li is approximately a 20-minute walk away. The hotel is surrounded by shops, convenience stores, malls, and restaurants, and there’s a metro station nearby. Didi: Easy to book through the app, but it’s better to wait in front of the hotel for easier pickup. Check-in: Fast and hassle-free. Just present your passport. Reception: The staff don’t speak much English, so make sure you have a translation app. WeChat is also very useful for communicating with the hotel staff. Room: We were upgraded to a room with a window, although there was no view. I think our original room was actually bigger. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, and I woke up without any body aches! However, there was no full-length mirror in the room, and no luggage weighing scale was available. Bathroom: The shower and toilet areas are separated by brown glass, which can be a little awkward if you’re travelling with friends. The shower area also gets flooded easily. The toilet is a smart toilet with a heated seat, but no bidet. Amenity kits are provided. Breakfast: The variety is somewhat limited, but the food is tasty, and the menu changes daily. There was only one meat dish available among the stir-fried dishes, while most of the other options were vegetables or noodles. The live noodle station is worth trying! I highly recommend the wontons. Other options include salad, cereal, watermelon, bread, tea, and juice. One thing I found strange was that they didn’t serve drinking water. Afternoon Tea: Served near the reception area. I wasn’t able to try it, but it looked like they offered some of the same sweets available for free tasting around Taikoo Li. Late-Night Snacks: I was only able to try the sweet porridge once, so I’m not sure if it’s available every day. If you want to try it, I recommend asking the receptionist early. Laundry: There are four washing machines and four dryers. If you plan to do your laundry, it’s better to start before 6 PM. Gym: Basic facilities are available, including a treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical machine. Security: You can only access your assigned floor using your key card. However, since the hotel doesn’t have a delivery robot, food delivery riders are allowed to go up and deliver orders directly to your room. Taobao Deliveries: The hotel accepts Taobao orders, which is convenient if you plan to shop online while in China. Overall: A convenient base for exploring Chengdu, especially if you plan to visit Taikoo Li. The comfortable bed and pillows were a pleasant surprise, and the hotel offers useful amenities such as laundry facilities and a gym. However, communication can be challenging without a translation app, the room does not have a full-length mirror or luggage weighing scale, and the bathroom layout may not be ideal for friends sharing a room. Tips: Download a translation app, communicate with the staff through WeChat when needed, and do your laundry early. If you’re planning to order from Taobao, you can have your packages delivered to the hotel. You may also want to bring a portable luggage scale if you need to weigh your bags before leaving.

This trip with friends to the Echeng Hotel was a really satisfying experience overall. The front desk service was excellent; check-in and check-out were both quick. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, patiently assisting with any questions we had. We stayed in a twin room, and both single beds were spacious and comfortable. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get around. Restaurants, shops, and attractions are all easily accessible nearby. Room hygiene was top-notch, and the cleaning staff were very polite, diligently tidying the room every day. The hotel also offers a free laundry service, with plenty of washing machines and dryers, so there's rarely a need to wait – very convenient for travelers. Additionally, the hotel provides a parcel receiving service, and the front desk even thoughtfully offers tea. Overall, the service, environment, facilities, and convenience were all very satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip and would recommend it to friends!

The hotel is right in the city center, very close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. It's super convenient for just stepping out to walk around and explore. It's also not far from the subway station, so getting to the high-speed railway station later on won't take too much travel time. When I first arrived and checked in, the staff were very friendly and offered me a cup of lemonade. It was refreshing and sweet, which instantly relieved the heat and fatigue from the journey. Every corner of the room was impeccably clean, giving a fresh and neat impression. While the street outside is lively and bustling, the room is quiet and peaceful once you're inside, allowing for a good rest. There are plenty of dining options nearby—whatever you feel like eating is just a step outside, and it's a quick walk back when you're tired from shopping. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and quite impressive given this location.

The room was nice, and we had a great view of the lower reaches of Dujiangyan from the window. The hotel is conveniently located right by the road, making it very easy to catch a taxi to the attractions. Breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of options. Plus, they gave us vouchers for tea and hot springs.
