GGuest UserThe room is only 27 square meters and quite small overall, but I actually found the cozy size rather comforting. If you prefer spacious rooms, you might want to think twice before booking. The hotel is right next to Yushuang Road Subway Station, and about 1.8 km from Taikoo Li, making it very convenient to take a taxi. There is an alley behind the hotel filled with local eateries, including a noodle shop called ”Xiaomingtang Dandan & Tianshui Noodles,” and their sweet-water noodles are amazing. I'll definitely choose this Hilton Garden Inn again on my next visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic; Wenshu Monastery is right outside the door if you turn left. We visited during a holiday, and there was no queue to enter the monastery from this side. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the environment is elegant – a quiet oasis in a bustling area. The bedding was so soft I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. Breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee brewed by the owner was delicious. The staff were warm and the service was attentive. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Chengdu.

GGuest UserI didn't have much of a detailed plan for my short trip to Chengdu this time; I randomly booked this hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was raining lightly on the day I arrived, and I got a bit wet dragging my luggage. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately felt a sense of warmth. The front desk staff noticed me and proactively offered tissues. The check-in process was relaxed and unhurried; they didn't just rush through the procedures and even kindly reminded me to be careful of slippery surfaces due to the rain. The first impression when I entered the room was how fresh and clean it was, with no stuffy odors. The layout was simple and comfortable. The bedding was neat and soft, and the lighting was gentle and not harsh. After a long journey, coming back to the room allowed me to completely relax. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with all the corners well-maintained. The water flow was smooth, and the overall bathroom experience was excellent. The hotel's soundproofing was good; it was very quiet at night, and I had a peaceful and solid night's sleep. At one point, when I went out, I accidentally left my umbrella near the elevator. I thought it would be difficult to get back, but I decided to contact the front desk just in case. The staff quickly helped me check the surveillance footage and successfully retrieved my item. This small incident particularly warmed my heart. Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, but what was most remarkable was the genuine service. It wasn't just a rigid formality but sincere and thoughtful care from the heart. It's suitable for both leisure travel and business trips. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu.

GGuest UserObjectively speaking, the front desk service was excellent, and the hotel lobby and courtyard environment were also very good! However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and an indescribable odor in the room itself. When I got into bed after washing up at night, the duvet and sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. There was also a persistent smell of urine, which wasn't coming directly from the duvet or sheets, but it lingered throughout the night. I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep well. In the morning, I woke up with many red bumps on my arms and legs. I've booked so many hotels on Ctrip, mostly prioritizing a good environment, and this is the only one that has given me such a bad experience. It's the only hotel that has made me feel this uncomfortable. I originally planned to give feedback to the front desk when checking out, but there was a family of foreign tourists complaining, so I just left without saying much. Anyway, the service itself was commendable!

GGuest UserVery lovely hotel. We stayed in a room with a river view and absolutely enjoyed the wonderful view. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The housekeeping even provided me with face cloths as they saw that I used cosmetics. The breakfast had a good variety as well. We extended our stay in this hotel and would definitely come again. They even gave us a little present during checkout. Highly recommend!

Around 30 minute walk to the famous bridge and 30-40 minute walk to the irrigation system. There are also a lot of restaurants , coffee and souvenir shops around.

GGuest UserThis was, without a doubt, the most satisfying hotel experience of my Chengdu trip. Candy provided exceptional service throughout my stay. She added me on WeChat in advance, inquired about my arrival time, arranged turndown service, and offered welcome fruits. She also checked daily if I needed room cleaning. She's an outstanding employee and deserves a raise. Another 'burnt out' employee, Lucky, a West Highland White Terrier, was incredibly well-behaved and loved being petted – it was a delightful interaction. The facilities are relatively new and very clean, and the location is excellent. It's not in a noisy area but offers great accessibility. It's directly accessible from Exit G of Dongda Road Metro Station, only four stops from Chunxi Road, and surrounded by three or four shopping malls. It’s perfect for both relaxation and exploring. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Chengdu.

GGuest UserThe interior and exterior environment, cleanliness, and service of Chengdu Celebrity Hotel are all excellent. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and the restaurant is quite spacious. However, most of the dishes are spicy. It is suggested to consider the dietary habits of guests from all over the country by balancing spicy and non-spicy options, or by placing chili seasoning separately so that those who love spicy food can add it themselves—this might be a better approach. Another shortcoming is that our room only had a single fixed showerhead that could not be detached for use. Although there was another one by the bathtub, water would leak onto the room floor while taking a shower. Nowadays, ordinary hotels usually provide two showerheads (one fixed and one movable), and for a five-star hotel, this should not be the case.

GGuest Usersoo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.
