Romantic Hotels in Chengdu

The room was very spacious and I had a very comfortable one-day stay. If I didn't have other travel plans, I would have extended it. The surrounding environment is lovely and the location is great, making it very convenient to go anywhere. The service was also excellent—the check-in introduction and late check-out arrangement were both very thoughtful. The facilities are comprehensive and fully equipped.

This hotel is truly amazing! The service attitude is excellent, the price is super affordable, and I found the room quite spacious, not small as some reviews suggested. What's more, for the price we paid, breakfast was included... The breakfast was a buffet, with limited choices but it was tasty. Plus, the view from the breakfast area was lovely.

Pretty unique stay with it's decor. Room looked nicer in the photos because the lighting in the actual room was inconsistent with white and yellow bulbs. A standing lamp and the latch on a window were broken, but they fixed both the following day. They kept reassuring me it's safe (the broken latch meant the window couldnt be closed) but as a solo traveller it's still best to err at the side of caution. Plus it meant I couldn't block outside sound, and was actually woken from my nap by food wrapper noises by someone on the balcony (it's shared). For extras, the ******* clothing is actually free, 'oxygen' meant aircon, you have to remind them on the welcoming gifts, so the only thing I'd is worth paying the extras for is their handmade tsampa and butter tea. Pretty filling and you can have it as breakfast (though you might not be used to the taste haha) Overall a good experience because of their friendly service, good attitude, and always having a smile on their face. I suggest for them to be proactive in telling the guests on what their extras are and how to request fro them, instead of the other way around.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, and they offer free sweet soup every evening. There are also plenty of dining options right next to the hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the cleaning staff does an excellent job every day. Plus, they provide disposable towels.

I specifically came for the 'blue tears' phenomenon, and choosing this accommodation in Guanxian Ancient City really made things easy. It was just a few minutes' walk from my room to the South Bridge, and seeing the 'blue tears' after dark made it all worthwhile. On the way back, I passed a lively night market, bought some skewers, and ate them as I walked. The room itself was nice, the bedding was clean, and after a long day of exploring, I could just shower and fall right asleep. I woke up refreshed the next day, ready to continue exploring the ancient city! 🌟

This time staying at Chengdu Ruicheng Celebrity Hotel, the experience was perfect!👍The hotel is in a great location, right next to Wenshu Temple Subway Station. It is very convenient to go to Kuanzhai Alley or Tianfu Square. The rooms are spacious and bright, the hygiene is spotless, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and you can have a good night's sleep. What surprises people the most is the hotel's ”Little Red Dress Butler” service. It is not only warm and thoughtful, but also provides a local food map. It asks every day whether the room needs to be replenished with items and mineral water, which makes people feel warm. The breakfast combines Chinese and Western styles, is rich in variety, and has excellent taste. The overall cost is very high, and it is the best choice for business trips or family travel. Next time you come to Chengdu, you will definitely choose this place!

Every summer, I come to Mount Qingcheng, and I've pretty much stayed at all the famous hotels and guesthouses here, with Six Senses being the only one left. So I decided to stay for a night. The reason I waited so long to try Six Senses is because of the mixed reviews online – some praise it to the heavens, others tear it down, making me hesitant to spend money unnecessarily. However, since I've practically stayed everywhere else, I finally gave in to the urge to check out Six Senses! Let me start with the conclusion: the experience was truly disappointing, even a huge letdown! Why? First, its location right next to the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Rail Station means there's no sense of secluded retreat at all, which completely undermines the Six Senses brand's reputation for seclusion. Upon entering, it felt hot and stuffy everywhere, not cool at all. This is because the vegetation around the hotel is too sparse, and the trees aren't lush, causing the ground to be scorched. It felt like I had entered a farmhouse guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain town, completely lacking the ethereal charm of Mount Qingcheng. Moreover, the hotel doesn't have large water features, further diminishing any sense of vibrancy! To put it bluntly, it's not even as good as the adjacent Howard Johnson Qingcheng, which has an earthy charm that makes you feel refreshed and peaceful as soon as you enter. Furthermore, the overall design of the hotel is terribly poor; it's a maze with no clear hierarchy or aesthetic appeal. The room design is even worse, truly embodying the 'upscale farmhouse' aesthetic – neither ancient nor modern, neither rustic nor sophisticated. The interior space of the room is partitioned into small compartments, the lighting is dim, and the balcony is incredibly tiny and mosquito-ridden, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a vacation! The flow within the room is chaotic; the minibar and fridge are placed next to the bed, and when you want to turn off the lights for sleep, you can't find the switch, having to get up and go to the sofa to turn it off. The fan is impossible to turn off easily, and there are hardly any power outlets for phones and laptops! I don't know which designer came up with this anti-human design; it's as if they deliberately made guests uncomfortable! What's even more ridiculous is that the king room and garden room are designed with one above the other, making it easy to see people downstairs from upstairs! Is this to make it convenient for neighbors to visit? It's so 'down-to-earth' that it feels like living in a residential complex! Where's the vacation feeling in that? In short, the stay was very unpleasant. The room wasn't spacious enough, nor was it cozy! You couldn't comfortably lie down or sit up! The room design of Six Senses lacks the grandeur of Qingcheng Songpin, the style of Zuowang Senlin, the ethereal quality of Qingxia Shanju, and the层次感 (sense of layering) of Qingcheng Mountain Resort! However, Six Senses does have its merits, primarily its excellent service. Before check-in, they call to confirm, and after check-in, a butler contacts you, sending various reminders throughout your stay and assisting with booking complimentary services within the hotel. If anything is needed in the room, just ask, and it's delivered immediately. This aspect was quite satisfactory; the service can be said to be the best among all hotels in Qingcheng Mountain, and this alone lives up to the Six Senses brand. Also, the breakfast variety is quite rich and of good quality; the yogurt is homemade by the hotel, and the cherry tomatoes are homegrown. The only inconvenience is having to run up and down between floors in the restaurant to get food! To summarize, Six Senses is worth at most 1,000 yuan per night. Such a high room rate is simply overpriced and a rip-off. Staying there a second time would be a complete waste of money!

❤️ Loved Ben Hotel! I was really happy with my stay this time! The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, and it felt just like being at home. The front desk staff were all super friendly and patiently helped with any questions I had. Even the cleaning aunties were very kind and kept the room spotless every day, which added an extra touch of warmth to my stay. It's truly wonderful to find a hotel that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed when you're traveling. The Mercure Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation. Right outside is Exit D of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2, and a 100-meter walk left along Tongren Road leads to Kuanzhai Alley Station on Metro Line 4. It's close to Kuanzhai Alley and Qin Tai Gu Jing, and a shared bike ride of 7-8 minutes will get you to Tianfu Square, People's Park, Baihuatan Park, Kuidunlou, and Xi'an Road Food Street. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. The bedding in the rooms is comfortable, soft, and clean, and memory foam pillows ensured a good night's sleep. The mini-bar drinks are free-flow. Safety details are well-covered, with a safe and flashlight provided. The self-service laundry room, free parking, and gym are very convenient and friendly for travelers. The room has good lighting, with a floor-to-ceiling window framing the views of Qin Tai Gu Jing and Cultural Park. Warm yellow light spills over the dark purple soft sofa, and the light coffee-colored walls feature prints of Hejiang Pavilion and Anshun Bridge, weaving Chengdu's gentle charm into every detail of the room. The bathroom features a refreshing wet and dry separation, without any lingering odors, making you feel exceptionally comfortable and relaxed from the moment you step in. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. After learning my preferences, they kindly arranged a non-smoking room for me. Every time I called the service hotline, they responded quickly. Upon check-out, they even gave me a panda fridge magnet as a souvenir. My impression of the hotel is excellent! The hotel's breakfast is served in the restaurant on the twelfth floor, offering a great view. However, the breakfast experience was arguably the only downside: 1) The breakfast selection was quite simple and limited, with not many options, leaning heavily towards Chinese breakfast. 2) Food items were not replenished promptly. I went to eat at 8 AM, but many serving pans were already empty, and no one was refilling them. 3) The juice in the drink dispenser was almost empty and not replenished in time. The cola even had no fizz at all, tasting like brown sugar water. 4) Most of the steamed buns, twisted rolls, dumplings, and wontons were pre-made frozen convenience foods. The stir-fried vermicelli was mushy, and every dish was excessively oily and salty. The bread and cakes were dry and hard... It would have been more satisfying to find a random roadside stall outside the hotel for a bowl of noodles, some congee, and a steamed bun! 5) The restaurant did not have air conditioning on, nor was there any ventilation. Dining in a stuffy environment felt damp and muggy.

Great service, but serious room and air-quality concerns Firstly, I have to say that the service was amazing. The staff were friendly, kind and incredibly helpful, and I really appreciated how responsive they were when I raised my concerns. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and, particularly, the rooms was very disappointing. The hotel appears quite run down, and I was concerned about what seemed to be mould, dust or an air-quality issue. My room was changed twice, but unfortunately the problem persisted. There was a strong, dusty and unpleasant smell that irritated my nose and throat. I could even feel a dusty sensation in my mouth. As a result, my asthma was triggered and I became unwell. I ultimately had to leave the hotel on the same day I checked in because I did not feel it was safe for me to remain there. I genuinely appreciate the staff’s efforts and cannot fault their customer service. However, I strongly believe the hotel needs to investigate and address the air quality, cleanliness and possible mould/dust issues in the rooms.
