"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Metro Line 1 and right next to Wenshu Monastery. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding and bathroom facilities are very clean. Some areas, like the carpets and air conditioning vents, could use a bit of improvement. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, which explains why many foreigners choose to stay here – it's great value for money. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Ms. Chen Liqiao, in particular, went above and beyond by adding me on WeChat and proactively and patiently providing travel and dining recommendations. Her service was truly heartwarming. Next time I visit Sichuan, this will be my top choice for accommodation in Chengdu."

"The triple room had very small windows, which made it feel quite depressing. The hotel's decor, with its dark colors, felt rather dull. Personally, I don't care for this kind of design; I prefer something brighter. The young women at check-in and check-out were excellent – very diligent and responsible. At check-in, she made three room cards for me, and also provided laundry coupons, afternoon tea vouchers, and handicraft vouchers, explaining their use in great detail. At check-out, another young woman was equally thorough and even asked if I had a car. If she hadn't asked, I would have forgotten to report the car number. I'm very satisfied with the work of these two young ladies at the front desk. On the morning of August 20th, around 8 AM, during breakfast, the young man at the entrance was also doing a good job. However, a woman in uniform was dining in a corner of the restaurant. It was clear she was staff because she was familiar with and joking around with the cleaning ladies and other staff members. Why was she eating where guests were dining? This indicates lax management. After she finished her breakfast, this woman strolled around the restaurant, didn't greet guests, and had an arrogant expression. I really don't understand her attitude towards her work. It gives the impression of loose management, yet the front desk staff are meticulous and serious. The contrast is stark. Is this woman a relative of the owner?"

"Back in 2021, I stayed at the Xinliang Grand Hotel in Chengdu and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean and tidy, and its excellent location made getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were particularly warm and welcoming. This time, when my daughter visited Chengdu, I booked the same hotel for her, and her stay was just as great. I'll definitely choose Xinliang Grand Hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu."

"Facilities: The facilities are very complete; you can use 'Xiao Du' (smart assistant) to control the curtains. Hygiene: Very clean, which is reassuring when traveling with children. The toilet even comes with disposable seat covers. Environment: The environment is great, and my child especially loved it; there's even a ball pit. Service: The service was warm and friendly, and they even extended our check-out time until 2 PM. 'Luggage Delivery' (Luggage sent to airport/high-speed rail/hotel in the same city): This service is very thoughtful and highly recommended."

"Staff amazing, very sweet and accommodating even with a language barrier, breakfast and afternoon tea was good. Location is stunning, about a 10-15 minute walk from Tianfuhong/People's Park and 30ish minutes from Chunxi Road. Wish I could have stayed longer, room and courtyard of the hotel were jawdroppingly beautiful. Room was a little dirty the first night, but after staff cleaning while we were out the next day it was spotless and I am not that much of a neatfreak either way. Completely recommend this hotel for visiting Chengdu, I will try my hardest to come back here in the future!"

"Great stay and excellent communication! The room was beautiful and had a lovely balcony, the view was even better than website photos! The hotel is in a great location for a nice walk and just a 10-minute walk from the metro station. The surrounding area is very convenient, full of 24/7 convenience stores, and the staff even helped us order food delivery :) It was also super convenient to have a laundry room equipped with both washing machines and dryers. The staff were extremely kind and spoke fluent English, which made communication much easier and more effective. Highly recommended!"

"This is our second stay within a week (after 2 nights at Jiuzhaigou). When we returned, it’s comforting to be greeted warmly by Xiao Zhang at the reception again (he checked us in one our first stay). Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!"
