It uses a lot of stones, logs and ceramic tiles and walls full of texture to make the whole closer to nature. The soft and bright color selection uses the blue of the sea and the white of the beach for reference. Olive green and desert yellow are added locally to create a romantic and comfortable color atmosphere. The restaurant of the hotel selects the fresh ingredients of the season, and uses nutritious and delicious Mediterranean food to help health. Both business travelers and families staying in leisure travel can enjoy a leisurely life and embrace a pleasant time. A total of 98 boutique guest rooms facing lake view, river view, etc. are elaborately built. The rooms are spacious and bright, with super large floor glass windows and super wide viewing terrace. The landmark river view room has a panoramic view. With a wide view, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Lijiang River and the amazing scenery of two rivers and four lakes! The design of the viewing bathtub makes you more comfortable and enjoy the warm atmosphere created by us
"The hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs there's a beautiful riverside promenade. It's just a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. We arrived at the front desk before 9:00 AM, and they quickly arranged a room for us and helped us check in early. They even added us on WeChat to recommend many nearby attractions and local eateries, telling us to contact them anytime if we had any questions. The room itself had a separate wet and dry area and was quite spacious and comfortable. My family also thought it offered great value for money. The only downside was that someone was singing by the river late into the night, which slightly affected my parents' sleep."

PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

RronoproThis was genuinely one of the best days of my life. The service at this hotel is beyond amazing. They really pampered us in every way possible here. They offered to bring our lunch to us directly to our room, or have it ready by the time we went down to the dining area, which by the way has the most stunning panoramic view. The scenery is unforgettable, it’s straight out of a movie or cartoon, it’s just so perfect! We got the room with the rotating bed, tub, and balcony and couldn’t be happier! The food, drinks, amenities were all phenomenal and I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to write for them. We were at the point of our trip where we wanted a nice, relaxing stay with great service, and this ticked all those boxes! Our housekeepers and staff were Icey and Mayling, and they were beyond helpful even with the language barrier as I don’t speak Mandarin at all. Both them and the two female photographers who took great care of us deserve the world. If you are coming to Yangshuo, you NEED to book this hotel, it is a life changing experience. 15/10

SSeet-HutterThis hotel directly overlooks the picturesque Li River where you can witness the fishermen's bamboo rafts with their cormorants anchored to the promenade. It's a popular spot for tourists in their hired period costumes trying to achieve the most photogenic shot of Yangshuo's world-renowned karst mountains. The hotel's roof terrace on the fifth floor offers uninterrupted vistas of this stunning landscape. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great value for its price and comes highly recommended. The hotel rooms are spacious and even those which face inwards look out to a leafy courtyard with pretty fountains. The staff, from the chambermaids to the lady at the guest laundry, were all super helpful. Special thanks to Maya/沫沫 at the front desk who devised an excellent itinerary for our private excursion with a driver. Equally outstanding was Lacey/橙子, also at the reception. She was very accommodating to the multiple requests of hotel guests, and in a truly earnest rather than perfunctory manner. Both of them are assets to the service industry. The hotel's attention to detail in terms of its interior design is laudable : the concept of Yangshuo's landscape is visually captured throughout the hotel - from the nameplate at its entrance to the signage of the room numbers, they all feature symbolic silhouettes of those iconic karst mountains and the fishermen with their cormorants. One suggestion to the hotel's management is for them to provide an English language news channel on their television : in view of the increasing foreign clientele, it is indeed glaring that even their national CGTN news channel is not available.

GGuest UserI brought my parents on a trip, and after doing some research on Xiaohongshu, we decided on Yuanyuan Jingshe. Primarily, I was drawn to its direct location by the Yulong River and the great lawn for photos. Our actual stay exceeded expectations. First, they have family rooms, all with large beds. The rooms are spacious, and the mattresses are excellent – not the kind that are too soft and sink in. My dad has back issues, but he could sleep comfortably on this bed. Furthermore, the service was fantastic; every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly and was quick to respond to any requests. From the hotel's riverside, you can directly see camels crossing the river, which is perfect for photos. The hotel's Hongming photo shoot service is also a huge plus. Upon check-in, we received two free traditional outfits, and the hotel itself has several scenic spots and props. They even provided four retouched photos, which is perfect for moms who love taking pictures.

GGuest UserWorth every penny! Choosing this hotel was an excellent decision, especially for a family trip with kids. The rooms are spacious, and the windows offer stunning views of the Yulong River and its picturesque landscape. The facilities are comprehensive, making our family stay very comfortable. What delighted the kids most was the hotel's swimming pool; they didn't even want to go out, preferring to just swim at the hotel. Even though the weather isn't hot yet, it couldn't dampen their love for playing in the water. The hotel management's service was also fantastic, even providing towels for the children while they were swimming. The breakfast at the restaurant was plentiful, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The Basque cheesecake was delicious, and the coffee was pure. Dinner was also very good. Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Many spots at the hotel are perfect for photos, and every shot looks like it's from a magazine.

The owners were so kind and upgraded me to a room with a floor-to-ceiling window. As soon as I opened the door, the breathtaking scenery of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers came into view. It was truly refreshing and I fell in love with it instantly.
The entire hotel has a charming, ancient feel, and the environment is incredibly comfortable. The staff, both the guys and girls, were exceptionally friendly and made me feel immediately calm and relaxed. It’s perfect for a long stay or a meditation retreat. There's a viewing platform on the top floor, ideal for watching the sunrise and sunset.
The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles were delicious, and the nutritious congee was also very tasty. I highly recommend the hotel's homemade milk dates – wow, I just couldn't stop eating them! Especially with the surrounding mountains and rivers and soothing music, it even made me, someone who usually skips breakfast, have a huge appetite.
The room came with a foot-soaking tub and sleep-inducing foot bath sachets, along with roses and Liubao tea, creating a very artistic atmosphere. Oh, and the bedding was super comfortable, and there was a smart toilet. Everything was top-notch, and I was extremely satisfied.
The hotel's surroundings are excellent. If you turn left out the door, there's a small path where you can stroll along the Yulong River. A 20-minute walk takes you to Wanjing Wharf and Gongnong Bridge, which is very convenient.
Oh, and the owners are incredibly warm and friendly. They responded to every request instantly and even helped me receive a package. When I couldn't find a good spot to photograph the rapeseed flowers, they even guided me via video call. The service was truly exceptional.
It's been a long time since I traveled domestically, and honestly, both the accommodation and service here, as well as the price, completely blow the US out of the water. I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms after leaving Yangshuo!
A small anecdote at the end: this hotel was found using an AI tool, Gemini. AI truly didn't disappoint me, haha!

GGuest UserOur stay was excellent! My mom kept raving about how clean the hotel was, the spacious room, and the great service. We originally booked a room in Building B, but the front desk staff upgraded us to Building A because we had a lot of luggage and my mom is older. Building A has an elevator, which was very convenient. The room had a lovely minimalist, natural wood style – exactly what I like – and a small balcony. The balcony faced the mountains, so the air was fresh, and we could hear birds chirping. My mom and I really enjoyed sitting out there and having tea. There's a huge rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. The hotel is super close to West Street, about a 30-meter walk, but despite West Street being bustling, the hotel itself was very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends. Overall, a fantastic experience! It's also very close to all the surrounding scenic spots.

LLvxingfashaoyouxiongbaobaoGuilin Shangri-La, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it!! Is Guilin Shangri-La old? No! While it's a bit older, every single facility is incredibly well-maintained! And the food? Even better!
Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!!
The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!!
The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location just a few hundred meters from the attractions is incredibly convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic, and even though we had a small hiccup, it was perfectly resolved. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but the service and cleanliness are good, it's easy to get around, and it's great value for money. A special shout-out to the landlady, her service attitude was superb!
