Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in.
Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again.
I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

JJoytotheworldsgWe had a wonderful stay at SYYF Holiday Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Every day, we received a different Chinese dessert delivered to our rooms and thoughtfully stored in the fridge, along with afternoon tea treats.
The hotel also offered a fantastic range of activities, including dumpling-making and massage stick workshops, which added a special touch to our stay. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in providing information about Yangshuo and recommending places to visit. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was included with our stay and featured an extensive selection of both local and international dishes.
The chargeable dinner was equally enjoyable, offering authentic local flavors prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

ZZaoanjunjunMy stay at Miaozai Shanye Resort was fantastic! The overall vibe is a fresh, Instagram-worthy style that perfectly suited my taste. The rooftop water mirror and the massive pool create an amazing atmosphere for photos. Plus, there's a 1000-square-meter photography base where you can get free travel photos taken.
I stayed in a 270° mountain view room, and the continuous mountain ranges outside the window offered such a comfortable view. The 300-square-meter indoor kids' playground meant the children could play freely, making it a stress-free trip for parents.
The guesthouse is nestled in a valley, offering a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's no need to rush out; simply relaxing and unwinding at the resort is incredibly pleasant, really maximizing that vacation feel.

DELIGHT!!!! OH MY GAD!!! A premium hotel! 100% privacy with nature! The hotel's design is so thoughtful that you feel right at home! Built in an old sugar factory, it makes a huge impression! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE HOTEL STAFF, JACK!!! He should be the hotel manager!!! He is so sociable and always helped me and told me everything. Thanks to him, I have the best vacation and very delicious pasta!!) Wonderful hotel employee LUCY is simply charming, she immediately signed me up for a ride on bamboo rafts and did a fireworks display 🎆!!!! She told me everything about the history of the hotel and I bought the book!!!! I dream of building a hotel in Russia!!! And this trip was a great inspiration for me!!!!! Big thanks to Lily and Reina, the two housekeepers. They were super sweet and helpful the whole time, took care of all my requests patiently.
I also wanna praise photographer Caicai. She’s really good at taking pictures! She knows perfect angles and guides me to pose naturally, all photos turned out gorgeous.
The rooms are clean and facilities are nice. Great scenery, thoughtful service and amazing free photoshoot. Definitely my top pick for Yangshuo, I will come back again!

Outside the window, it's like a landscape painting; just sitting quietly with a pot of tea, watching the clouds and mist drift through the mountains. The owner is very welcoming, and the whole atmosphere is relaxing and healing, making all your worries disappear. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax – once you're here, you won't want to leave! The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photoshoot, and the results were great with excellent service from the photographer.

First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination.
Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses – visual, taste, and soul. It’s truly a perfect hotel with no flaws!
Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room.
The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space.
Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub – this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer.
Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'.
The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points.
From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel.
Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities.
Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos.
In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards.
Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences.
This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover.
Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'.
Final thoughts: We'll be back.
Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home.
If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan.
Tips:
· We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views.
· Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep.
· The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

NNaixin17Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views!
**Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍
**Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍
**Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩
**Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. GGuest UserThe Shangri-La's signature scent, a well-equipped gym that even has a ping-pong table where my husband and I battled it out for 40-50 minutes (and I got thrashed!), indoor and outdoor pools, its own garden, and even free-roaming peacocks and enclosed pigeons and pheasants – kids would absolutely love it, especially since the 'zoo' staff are incredibly friendly. One lovely lady even gave me an egg and told me to feed the whites to the pigeons and the yolk to the peacocks... The backyard leads directly to the Li River, and looking out the window is like gazing at a painting. Guilin city itself is just so-so, but I'd definitely come back just for this hotel.
