Guangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

I was incredibly satisfied with the ground-floor room that came with a courtyard. You can walk right out onto the lawn and by the pool, and the view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and so relaxing. The rooftop is also great for photos! The restaurant food was good too. A special shout-out to Shishi, one of the staff members – she was absolutely wonderful and provided high-quality service. She helped us upgrade to a triple room with a tatami and a courtyard, and even assisted us with booking at their other property, the Lijiang Courtyard (we were so happy with this stay that we decided to continue with their brand in Guilin). Many thanks!

🏡 **Ambiance:** Step out the door to 180-degree panoramic views of Guilin's stunning landscapes! Spending a couple of days and a night here is incredibly therapeutic. 🛋️ **Room Type:** It's a clean white Instagram-worthy style, fully equipped with amenities, and even has an extra-large bathtub. 🧡 **Service:** The afternoon tea and breakfast here are exquisite, and you can enjoy them right in front of the scenic mountains and rivers! They also offer a travel photography service with a wide selection of outfits, and they can even do your hair beautifully. You can take a full photoshoot without even leaving the hotel! 🚗 **Transportation:** If you're driving, there's a parking lot right in front of the hotel, complete with charging stations.

After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel! I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag. After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom. Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over. When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room. For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

This place offers great view of the ten mile gallery. Breakfast & high tea provided with night deserts daily. It would be great if the menu are different daily. Transfer is provided within the 5km but only selected place designated by the hotel only it would be great if they provide transfer to and from hotel as they have many cars available. Unfortunately, they were shot of drivers. Within the radius of their amenities, e-bikes are easily rented. Last but not least, free photoshoot by their professional photographer Jia Jia was nice. Thank you.

Our stay at Fadai was simply wonderful and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful settings for photography, surrounded by stunning mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature a huge bathtub facing the views, allowing you to relax while enjoying the magnificent scenery. It was truly unforgettable. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and always willing to help. They even went out of their way at 10:00 p.m. to find vegetarian food for us, making sure we had dinner despite the late hour. The staff also helped us organize our visit to the local show and made sure we arrived on time. In my opinion, it was the best show I have ever seen in my life. One of the most unique experiences offered by the hotel is the traditional Chinese photo session. The hotel provides three complimentary photos and has several beautiful settings within the property where guests can dress as women from ancient China. The staff help with the traditional costumes, makeup, and poses to ensure the photos turn out beautifully. The results are absolutely stunning. The mountain scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop and leaves you with incredible memories. Our experience at Fadai was truly exceptional, and we recommend this hotel 100%. The location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are genuinely warm and caring. Thank you to the entire Fadai team for making our stay so special.

Poised in mountains and waters, nestled in clouds – an exceptional stay at Jiyun Shangyuan Resort Hotel by the Yulong River. First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination. Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses – visual, taste, and soul. It’s truly a perfect hotel with no flaws! Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room. The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space. Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub – this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer. Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'. The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points. From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel. Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities. Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos. In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards. Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences. This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover. Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'. Final thoughts: We'll be back. Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home. If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan. Tips: · We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views. · Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep. · The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

📍 **Great Location, Yet Peaceful** The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from West Street, but surprisingly quiet. It was a really comfortable stay. 🏊‍♀️ **Five-Star Facilities** The huge swimming pool and kids' play area kept my children entertained for hours—they didn't want to leave! A must-visit if you're traveling with little ones. 📸 **Picture-Perfect Spot** The Sky Mirror on the 9th floor of Building A offers breathtaking views! A trip to Yangshuo isn't complete without snapping some beautiful photos here. 🍳 **Delicious Breakfast** The restaurant served a rich and tasty breakfast that satisfied our whole family. 🛁 **Highly Recommend This Room Type** We stayed in the 270-degree balcony room with a private plunge pool and a large bathtub. The room offered direct views of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers. Soaking in the pool, enjoying snacks, and admiring the scenery—it was truly luxurious!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They introduced us to Guilin's famous rice noodles, and were especially patient in explaining the hotel's mascot, the cormorant, to my child, even taking into account our dietary restrictions. A special thanks to Daisy in the executive lounge and Emily at the front desk during check-out. They both truly showed their passion for their work and their dedication to guests.
