"This hotel is very close to Guilin's famous Four Lakes and Two Rivers, making it a fantastic base for exploring the area. Breakfast is served on the 9th floor with a beautiful view, which made for a really enjoyable start to the day. The spread was great too, with a nice variety of both Chinese and Western options to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very attentive throughout our stay. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Guilin!"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

This hotel exceeded every expectation and became one of the biggest highlights of our trip. From the incredible location and breathtaking views to the outstanding service and unforgettable experiences, everything was simply perfect. 📍 The Perfect Location The hotel is perfectly located next to Fubo Hill, with beautiful views of the Li River and Guilin’s iconic karst mountains. The Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area, restaurants, cafés, shopping streets, and many of the city’s top attractions are all within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. 🏊 Stunning Rooftop Infinity Pool The rooftop infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. Swimming while enjoying panoramic views of the Li River and Guilin’s spectacular mountain landscape was one of the most memorable moments of our stay. It’s truly one of the most beautiful hotel pools we’ve ever experienced. 🍜 Breakfast with an Incredible View Every morning began with a delicious breakfast overlooking the Li River and the surrounding karst mountains. The food was excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the beautiful scenery made every breakfast feel special. 🛏️ Beautiful Rooms The room was spacious, spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. ❤️ Exceptional Hospitality The staff were among the friendliest we’ve met during our travels. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. 🎣 Authentic Local Experiences This hotel offers so much more than just a place to stay. One of our favorite experiences was traditional riverside fishing with cormorants, which was both relaxing and uniquely local. We also loved the Chinese calligraphy class, children’s craft activities, and the complimentary traditional costume photoshoot with three beautifully edited photos included. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families Our children loved the spacious indoor playroom and all the activities prepared by the hotel. It is an excellent choice for families traveling with kids. 🍽️ Excellent Restaurant We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 🧺 Thoughtful Extras Free self-service laundry, complimentary cultural activities, lovely farewell gifts, and so many thoughtful little touches made our stay even more memorable. ✨ Final Thoughts This hotel offers far more than just a beautiful place to stay—it creates unforgettable memories. "First off, I have to praise the hotel's service. If I were to rate the staff's service alone, I'd give it a perfect 10! From proactively contacting me the day before check-in, guiding me on transportation, asking if I needed help with luggage before arrival, to offering recommendations for nearby dining and attractions, afternoon tea, evening congee, and morning rice noodles... even following up to ask if I'd arrived at my next destination after I left – their attention to detail made me feel completely at home. The hotel's location is right in Dongxi Alley, but it's not noisy at night. From the rooftop observation deck, you can see the mountain of Jingjiang Prince's Mansion... though I have to say the view is just average, haha. The room itself was very comfortable. Having tea on the tatami in the morning was perfect for relaxing and clearing my mind. If the view outside the window were better, I might have been tempted to stay an extra day. The facilities and amenities were complete; although a little old (which is understandable), they were still very comfortable to use overall, and there's even a bathtub! My only suggestion would be to improve the water pressure in the bathroom, it was a bit low. The breakfast was quite simple, but as the staff mentioned, the rice noodles they cooked were incredibly delicious, much better than the ones I had at Tianyuan Rice Noodle yesterday. The afternoon tea, on the other hand, was quite lavish. All in all, a great review!"

"This hotel is genuinely great! I started looking at hotels while still on the high-speed train and browsed through many options before being captivated by the beautiful views this one offered. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel. The mini-fridge in the room is a nice touch and stocked with complimentary drinks. It's a pity I overslept and missed breakfast. Lastly, I personally found the room to be very quiet! Not as exaggeratedly noisy as some reviews suggested! Next time I'm in Guilin, or if friends visit Guilin, I will definitely recommend the Xinyu Hotel."

"This hotel is very close to Guilin North Railway Station, making it convenient to travel to various attractions in the city, such as the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Elephant Trunk Hill. My stay here truly exceeded my expectations! Upon check-in, the receptionists were very welcoming and efficient, quickly processing my check-in. They even thoughtfully informed me about breakfast times and suggested convenient ways to explore the surrounding area. The room was impeccably clean. The bed was the perfect firmness, and I slept very well that night. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, hot water came quickly, and the toiletries were of good quality. The breakfast was also very generous, featuring local Guilin rice noodles and various other delicacies. Overall, the value for money is excellent; the quality is very good for its price range. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Guilin!"

"Coming to Guilin, I didn't want to spend every day traveling long distances, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The location offers direct access to Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Pagodas, while East West Alley and Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street are within walking distance. During the day, you can enjoy the scenic landscapes, and in the evening, explore the night market and slurp up some rice noodles. The itinerary was relaxed and unhurried. The room was simple yet sophisticated, with a great sense of design, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. A highlight was the 8th-floor infinity pool, surrounded by lush greenery, offering stunning views of the karst peaks – perfect for capturing amazing vacation photos! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodle stand was incredibly authentic."

"This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!"
