We spent a long weekend in Haarlem from Friday to Monday to be in the middle of our excursion destinations and to be able to see a lot. We were in Zandvoort in 30 minutes by bike/10 minutes by car. In Amsterdam in 25 minutes by train.
The reception was very friendly, we were lucky and were able to move into our room a little earlier, right when we arrived at around 12pm.
In addition to the hotel, we were also given a lot of information about the area and a map.
Right next to/behind the hotel is a large ice rink, which is adjacent to a sports center, with a large free car park, from there it is a maximum of 5 minutes walk to the hotel. There is also a small free car park diagonally across the street, which is only a 2-minute walk away. The hotel itself also has a small car park, but this costs €7.50 per day.
The breakfast had a great selection, everything was fresh and attractively presented.
Two large coffee machines are available day and night.
The room, like the rest of the hotel, was modern and very clean, the beds were soft and comfortable. Despite being on the street side, it was very quiet. Safe, hairdryer, air conditioning, everything was there, except for a small fridge, but we didn't miss it.
You can rent bikes, but they cost €13 for 3 hours, or €18/day, and unfortunately they weren't that easy to ride.
We would definitely come back and recommend the hotel :)
