The hotel is in Haarlem. Very easy to find just in from of the big church. Staffs are nice and willing to help. Room is clean.

Hotel could use a makeover. Everything is well maintained and clean, but outdated. Room was very warm; air conditioning did little to change this. Breakfast is fine. Location is perfect; parking in garage under hotel; old center around the corner

The hotel's location, near the Market Square and St. Bavo Church, was perfect for exploring Haarlem on foot. Plenty of nice restaurants and shops are close by and an easy location to fine. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quiet. Best of all the lovely people at the front desk were very helpful, efficient, and quickly accommodated our special requests. Amrath Grand Hotel Frans Hals is the best place to stay in Haarlem.

Can't beat the location of the Amrath Grand Hotel Frans Hals - you can walk to everything. Desk staff were very friendly and speak very good English. Room was comfortable and clean. I also liked they had water dispensers available on each floor.

Staying at the Amrath Grand Hotel Fran Hals was the icing on the cake for our first trip to Haarlem. Our arrival date om March 28th, 2024 was my birthday and Michael updated our room to the junior suite. When we entered the room balloons and a hand written birthday card were on the bed. My husband said this was not his doing. I raced downstairs and thanked them. Michael did say when making the reservation that he did mention it was my birthday. The staff are great and the room very clean. We had breakfast at the hotel on Easter and they did have a wonderful layout. There is a nice bar which we did enjoy a night cap before going to bed during our 4 day stay.. I do want to mention one persons name who always seemed to be there when we came in. Hope the spelling is right..Teeuw. Just a very polite and wonderful gentleman. He will not be forgotten. If all the Amrath Grand Hotels in NL are any thing like this hotel you should have a wonderful stay.
