Highly recommended! What a wonderful stay we had in the center of Haarlem. A beautiful modern room with Oriental accessories equipped with all amenities. Wonderful beds! All instructions for check-in and check-out, house rules, parking and breakfast were clearly explained by email. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast at CoffeeDate! It was GREAT!

Room: "B&B 1001 Nach Haarlem" - Lange Veerstraat 6 2011 DB Haarlem Breakfast: Paarlaarsteeg 2, 2011 TA Haarlem stay from August 25 to 28 (3 nights) A scam! A real scam... The place shown in the photo does not correspond to the Bed & Breakfast building (exhibits 1 and 1bis). The room, the layout, the location, the description absolutely did not correspond to reality: the reservation email specified luxury room “Romantic with roof terrace”. Hello romance!!!! (exhibit 2). Access to the room is via a sordid entrance, not clean and cluttered (rooms 3 and 3 bis) followed by a steep and narrow staircase (rooms 4 and 4bis, not easy to climb with large suitcases)... room is small, poorly arranged, without storage (photo 5), without charm. There is indeed a terrace but contrary to the announcement there is no view of the city: it is sunken, embedded in the buildings (photos 6 and 6bis). Another opening opens onto a filthy and odorous place (photo 7). The room always smells bad, musty, rising pipes and various smells from the surrounding restaurants. The beds are narrow, there is only one bedside table and one lamp for reading and the mattresses are horribly soft (photo 8). The bathroom is very dangerous, very slippery because there is no separation from the shower (photo 9). No product, except shampoo. And the icing on the cake: no cleaning, no change! ! Breakfast is served more than 300 meters from the bed and breakfast. Which was not mentioned at all on the reservation. The Wi-Fi indicated by email is incorrect. The rates charged (€541 for three nights) are completely abnormal. in view of this unpleasant surprise. In short, it's the worst accommodation experience we've had... What a disappointment! We are completely fed up with this accommodation - almost nothing was right here. The entrance area was dirty - the apartment was in a bad condition - you can't sleep here at night because it's incredibly loud, there's hardly any sound insulation. The landlord doesn't respond to inquiries/complaints - the price/performance ratio is not right at all. Pictures are deceiving. Harleem is a dream city - but never again in this bad accommodation.

Two families and two rooms in the attic. The rooms are quite recent but dirty and not very welcoming. Rooms with a musty smell and odors from the street and noise until late at night. Dirty abandoned shop entrance with weeks old rubbish and mould. Terrible experience, little customer care and no respect for cleanliness

We did a road trip in Holland and we stayed at this hotel in our first night! We loved the fact that it was more like a family business. The guy that took us at our apartment was really helpful, he provided many information and suggestions about the place. Our room was very spacious and clean. They also provide a great breakfast at a very nice cafe nearby. Thank you for your hospitality!
