We loved our stay at the Hahei Beach Resort! The room was lovely, complete with a private deck looking onto trees where the birds love to share their joie de vivre. Great beach location, wonderful for swimming and walking, fantastic hike up the hill to the lookout. The resort is like a club - very friendly, with camping facilities and a central area with a burger shop, pizza joint, and bar. The pizzas were amazing!!! Hahei town is an easy walk from the resort. Getting out of Hahei to see other Coromandel Peninsula sites requires a bit of a drive, but I think that keeps the town mellow. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Good location just next to the beach and room with parking just outside. Equipped with everything we need and clean. Not sure if its due to us living at the lower deck, when we sleep we can hear the people stepping upstairs above us. Nice shower and strong water.

I was embarrassed at first because they did not inform me that the name had changed to Hahei Beach Resort. The accommodation was well located and the facilities were clean~

Great ocean views and beach access. This property is a mixed campground and villas arrangement and there was a lot of activity. Our unit was a 2 bedroom villa ruin the ocean with the best Pacific view I have ever experienced.

We rented Studio #4 and it was very nice! Large, clean, well stocked kitchen accessories, air conditioning if you wanted, right at beach access. Camper spots were well manicured grass pads. Enough meal choices in the small town, which was easily within walking distance. Would have loved to stay longer, but our itinerary did not allow it.

This is a very nice place to stay and the staff was so helpful. I was able to walk in the morning without any wrorries. The lake is beautiful.

We booked all five beach baches for a family wedding. They were perfect - spacious, comfortable and well equipped with sunny decks and right next to the sea. Beds and shower were great. May was a great month to go - we got beautiful weather and the resort was very peaceful.
