Hahei Beach Resort

"We loved our stay at the Hahei Beach Resort! The room was lovely, complete with a private deck looking onto trees where the birds love to share their joie de vivre. Great beach location, wonderful for swimming and walking, fantastic hike up the hill to the lookout. The resort is like a club - very friendly, with camping facilities and a central area with a burger shop, pizza joint, and bar. The pizzas were amazing!!! Hahei town is an easy walk from the resort. Getting out of Hahei to see other Coromandel Peninsula sites requires a bit of a drive, but I think that keeps the town mellow. We would go back in a heartbeat."

The Church Accommodation

"The Church Accommodations was the essence of New Zealand hospitality. The large cabin set in a rustic setting had all the essentials needed for a pleasant stay. We had a comfortable bed, a studio style kitchenette and use of a gas BBQ next to the reception building. The staff is warm and welcoming and provided us with clean replacement dish-ware daily. The cabin doesn’t have a kitchen sink. The location is close to town to shop, eat , and meet up with tour venders. We highly recommend this establishment for anyone staying in Hahei."

Tatahi Cove Back Packer

"Huge territory. The kitchen and the house have everything you need, good dishes, clean linen. Ducks walk around the territory. Hot water in the shower is timed (lasting 2 or 3 minutes). Most likely, the view of the lake will be blocked by the mobile home."

"Excellent motel-type hotel. Friendly receptionist. The room has everything you need. The room is clean. The location is very convenient."
