The Japanese-style room has a strong Showa feel. The fluorescent lights are a bit dark, so if you check in at night, you may be a little disappointed. When you open the window in the morning, the ocean view is not bad. The large hot spring bath and breakfast buffet are also very satisfying.

安いのにすごく充実感いっぱいでした。スタッフの皆様の対応も素晴らしかったです。洋室で新しい感じはしませんでしたが、海岸が目の前で波の音と風が心地良かったです。お風呂と食事も私は申し分ありませんでしたが、家内は夕食のカレーの具がラムであったのが残念と言っていました。でも、またぜひ行きたい温泉でした。

６月１６日から2泊しました。函館空港から路線バスで、１５分程で湯の川温泉バス停に到着。徒歩ですぐ。フロントスタッフのおかげで手際良いチェックインができました。部屋は９階の和室10畳。南向きの部屋で、窓から津軽海峡が目の当たり。翌日からは下北半島も遠望できました。部屋の畳は交換時期。布団は薄く、もう1枚下に敷布団かマットが必要。湯の川温泉の湯は、源泉かけ流しのようです。よく温まる泉質です。食事はブッフェで提供され、満足できるものでした。スタッフは様々な場面で、皆さん笑顔で対応してくれました。「おもてなしの心」が随所で感じられるホテルでした。特にレストランの男性スタッフはいつも大きな声で声掛けをしてくださって、恐縮しました。地元のリピーターが多いのも納得できました。

The interior is a little retro, but I don't think there will be any dissatisfaction with the facilities and services of this special hotel. The hot spring is open for a long time even if it is not a luxury facility, and there is no shortage.
The food is good enough even for the most economical buffet. Other restaurants may have been better.
Unfortunately, check-in and check-out take a bit of time, and for better or worse, this may be an "old-fashioned" accommodation facility.

It is one of the hotels we stayed in on our visit to Hakodate.. It is well situated overlooking the ocean, terrific looking out our window seeing and hearing the ocean and the sea breeze was really welcome We had terrific smorgasboard dinner and breakfast, great variety of food and the staff were always attentive and helpful. The hot baths were a great experience, especially liked the open air one that opened up beach side, The hotel rooms are Japanese style with Tatami Mat floors which means no wearing of shoes in the room . Beds are laid out on the floor , found them very comfortable.. The free wifi worked well. We enjoyed our stay there, a real bonus overlooking the ocean and it was clean and tidy

日帰り入浴客として訪問。このホテルおすすめは漁火露天風呂大浴場です。日帰り温泉で大変感動しました。北海道の海を見渡しながら海の匂い、波の音、音だけでなく水しぶきもこちらに迫ってくるじゃないと思うぐらい迫力ある景色を独り占めです。海に面した露天風呂はこのホテルの宝ですね。大浴場はこの露天風呂が今でも思い出に残ります。機会あれば日帰りでなく宿泊をしたい宿でした。日帰り温泉安いからといって接客が悪いという事なく親切に施設の説明や食事を取りました。今度はこの宿の特別室露天風呂客室に宿泊したいと思いました。JALマイル消化で函館訪問の際は絶対おすすめします。勿論日帰りでも楽しめますよ。価格が宿泊等安いのは外壁も老朽化しております。耐えれらない人はおすすめしません。価格安くて好立地の海の みえる温泉宿はここが最高です。
