"Location: Right next to Hakodate JR Station, just a 2-minute walk away. There's also a bus stop right outside, and it's very convenient to walk to attractions on the Mount Hakodate side. Service: The front desk staff spoke good English, and both check-in and luggage storage were seamless. The room wasn't very spacious, and the bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area. However, the hotel breakfast was excellent! There were many choices, and the food tasted great. What was really surprising was the self-serve wine and sparkling wine. Facilities: From the outside, the hotel looks quite old, but the interior is well-maintained. The most important thing is that this is a filming location for the Detective Conan movie, 'The Million-Dollar Pentagram'! Conan fans shouldn't miss it, haha."

"Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning. Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening."

"Hotel was packed as it was the golden week. Hotel has three paid parking blocks of space and is great for us driving. Rooms are somewhat smaller than normal. Housekeeping was not done as the reason given was they only top up and change towels and spa wear as we only stayed 3 days and 2 nights. Even though we place make up room and even rang them. Had to bring the tiny rubbish bins out to the door. Best thing is the comfy bed in the cramped room. Notable friendliness and hospitality received from the front office man that speaks Chinese / English and Japanese. I think his name is pronounced as Jyo. He is joval, helpful and informative . He tried to upsell the rooms on the other block as well. He is a GEM to the organization. The concerige and security team are friendly and nice but they speak little or no English. We didn't take it as we felt that it didn't look any bigger than what we had."

"The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from Hakodate Station. The off-season price was really good, and the room was very clean. There are plenty of izakayas and ramen shops right downstairs, plus convenience stores nearby. The hotel offers express check-out, and there's a water dispenser in the hallway. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hakodate."

"This hotel is perfect for introverts, offering fully self-service check-in, check-out, and luggage storage. You can grab toothbrushes and combs from the front desk yourself. Perhaps due to language barriers, I found the staff to be a bit indifferent. The duvet looked a little worn and had some old stains, but the bedside tables had a charming, historic feel. The bathroom was narrow but very clean. In the triple room, we could barely open one suitcase. We chose a room away from the elevator, so our window offered a view of JR Hakodate Station, which really highlights how incredibly close the hotel is – just a few minutes' walk. There's also a Maxvalu supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, which is quite large and good for browsing. Plus, there's a delicious soup curry restaurant, King Bear, nearby."

"This was my third stay, and it was just as great as the previous times. I enjoyed watching the cruise ships and the sea, and loved the open-air onsen on the top floor. By coincidence, there was an earthquake during my stay, and it was quite shaky, but the hotel's emergency response was excellent, which helped everyone feel less nervous and worried!"

"Personally feel that its price is not bad, it is only a minute walk from the station, there is a big supermarket nearby to buy fruit dinner snacks, every day after the trip to go back to the hotel, you will go there to buy food!"

"Firstly, it's quite a walk from Hakodate Station. Although it might not look far on the map, it's fairly isolated and away from the main bustling areas. We arrived at night, dragging our luggage, and the route became progressively darker. After passing a gas station, we found it – a small building right next to a car park. Secondly, both the rooms and the front desk are located on the second floor. The front desk is quite small and shares its space with the restaurant. The room itself was decent; while compact, it had everything we needed. However, the price felt high compared to what standard hotels offer. Next time I go to Nihonbashi, I'll definitely avoid weekends, otherwise, even capsule hotel prices will be through the roof."
