Amazing
GGuest UserThe service was very good, and the suitcases were wiped very clean. Someone was assigned to change shoes when you entered the door. There were snacks and matcha when you checked in. The hotel has a nostalgic style. You can make an appointment for a private bath for 45 minutes, and the public bath is unlimited. The room is very large, with windows facing the sea, and you can take some snacks to feed the seagulls.
JJiujiuweiThe room is very spacious, and a large suitcase can be spread out easily. The curtains are opaque, and you can't see your hand in front of you when you draw them.
The soundproofing is very good, and I didn't hear any noise (compared to the omo5 in the next two days, which was in silent mode...I regret not staying in lavista all the time)
I used to stay in the main hotel, and I was worried that the breakfast would be different from the main hotel, but I was overthinking, the breakfast was as high-quality as always.
GGuest UserFantastic City Center Stay with Relaxing Onsen
My recent stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. The location couldn’t be better – perfectly situated in the bustling city center, with major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation just a short walk away. It made exploring the city effortless and convenient.
The on-site hot spring was a real treat: clean, spacious, and with perfectly warm water that melted away all stress. Soaking there after a day out was pure bliss and true relaxation.
The room was impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable, with quality bedding and all necessary amenities. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained.
What impressed me most was the staff – everyone was genuinely polite, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.
This hotel offers the ideal mix of prime location, soothing facilities, spotless rooms, and warm hospitality. A wonderful experience I’d highly recommend!
MMiyahamIt was absolutely wonderful!
The location was great and parking was easy to find.
The front desk was very friendly and the welcome drinks were amazing! I ended up having the soft-serve ice cream several times.
The rooms were clean. Freshly ground coffee is a great thing for coffee lovers.
Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi course, which was delicious.
I was also very satisfied with the variety of options available for breakfast.
The daikon dengaku was great.
More than anything, I love the name ”Wara” (laughing).
I'd love to stay here again if I visit Hakodate.
JJ. SimonIt’s just next to JR Hakodate station, bus terminus is just in front of the hotel and the city tram stop is within 5 mins walking distance.
The morning fish market is just nearby across the road from JR Hakodate station.
The buffet breakfast is good with a wide variety including frozen grapes, frozen berries etc.
Also, the Hakodate Tourist Information Center is located within JR Hakodate Station. I made full use of my 2D 1N stay in Hakodate by purchasing the “Hakodate Special Ticket 2025”(はこだてスペシャルチケット2025) from the Tourist Information Center.
The ticket includes ”Transportation Ticket” City Tram 1-Day Pass + ”12-Points Ticket” (1 point = ¥250) and covers admission fees to Goryokaku Tower, Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward and Mt. Hakodate Ropeway (two-way).
임임대현The meals at this unexpected stay in Hakodate were outstanding, and I was truly moved by the receptionist’s fluent English – a rare experience in Japan. Thanks to their helpful guidance, I had a comfortable and relaxing time.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a little far from Hakodate Station. We have to walk a little after taking the bus, so we took a taxi, which cost 2,300 yen. The Japanese-style hot spring hotel, the room is not by the sea, the tatami area is good, much larger than the Western-style hotel room 😆 There are relatively few restaurants in Yukawa Onsen and they are relatively far away. It is recommended to solve breakfast and dinner in the hotel. We ordered breakfast, which is Japanese style with many varieties. We didn't order dinner, and wanted to go out for dinner. Unexpectedly, we walked for a long time before finding an Okonomiyaki restaurant that could accommodate us.
MmaxhooA traditional Japanese-style hot spring. The rooms have tatami mats and the old-fashioned key-operated lock and key system.
The service was excellent. We checked in quite late, and the receptionist, an elderly gentleman, provided a detailed explanation of the hotel's facilities and services. He escorted us to our room, opened the door with a key, and explained the room's amenities. Very dedicated.
The facilities are quite comprehensive. The hot springs are on the 4th and 7th floors, with men's and women's sessions rotating in the morning and evening. The 4th floor has an indoor sea view, and the 7th floor has an outdoor bath.
The location isn't in the heart of Hakodate; it's situated in an area with many hot spring resorts and bathhouses, but there are fewer restaurants nearby. The hotel's own convenience store is on the 1st floor, open until 10 PM, and has a wide selection of items.
__WeChat281718****This is an old-fashioned Japanese-style hotel, located about 5 kilometers from JR Hakodate. Transportation in Hakodate isn't very convenient, especially at night, so I took a taxi directly to the hotel.
There's a small supermarket downstairs selling souvenirs, food, and drinks—a wide variety, but don't buy too much (they sell similar items at the airport).
One downside of staying here is the language barrier. Don't expect to rely on English like in a big city. The hotel's signage cards had numerous errors in their English translations, so it's best to use a Japanese-Chinese translation app to communicate with the staff.
The private bath was nice, with a beautiful sea view and the option to watch the sunrise (though the angle wasn't great).
The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options, but it wasn't to my taste. I even found a fish bone in my seafood paella, which wasn't a pleasant experience.
The staff might come into your room to make the bed between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM each evening, which could be a bit of a disturbance.
エエゾシカ伝道師The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable.
While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
In addition, the correspondence of the odor remaining in the room is also firm, and I think it can be comfortable.
It's a hot spring, but you can get the power of the source.
It is a hot spring of great satisfaction!
