GGuest UserThis hotel is relatively new, and both the lobby and the onsen facilities are excellent, facing the sea with brand-new amenities. The rooftop open-air onsen is stunning, allowing you to enjoy the ocean and starry sky while soaking. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are especially lavish, with a wide variety of dishes like crab legs, tempura, sashimi, and grilled scallops. Getting to the airport is also very convenient, with a bus stop just a short walk from the entrance, reaching the airport in about 10 minutes. There's a friendly and attentive Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Hakodate.
SshirousaIt was a Western-style room with a balcony, a view of the ocean in the distance, and a pleasant breeze from outside.
I chose the two-meal plan, and the variety, presentation, and quality of both dinner and breakfast were so good that I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I'd definitely like to return.
The large public bath was smaller than I expected, and the steam sauna I was looking forward to was out of order, so I couldn't use it, but they did provide ice cream and haskap water for after my bath, which were delicious.
There were only two elevators, so it was sometimes difficult to use them during check-in and check-out.
However, the elevators were on separate routes to the front desk, restaurant, and bath, so it was easy to get around.
In the evening, I enjoyed playing table tennis (1,100 yen per hour).

YY SinThe hotel is small but you have everything you need. Clean with thoughtful arrangements. Onsen is comparatively big for a hotel with less than 30 rooms. The variety and quality of food for Breakfast is excellent. Can compare with a normal meal buffet. They offer free good quality ice cream and bean to cup coffee which is surprisingly excellent!.
LLiduoxiliaolinuolisiI'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!
GGuest UserI absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious.
The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world.
The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.
GGuest UserHoshino Resorts' service is delightful! This hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located very close to the JR station. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's exclusive shuttle bus service connecting to all the main attractions in Hakodate. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, everything was perfect.
MM3946****The hotel's location is super convenient. After getting off at Hakodate Station, you can take buses 95, 95A, or 96 right outside the station (get off at Yunokawa Onsen Station), and the hotel is directly across the street. Conversely, you can catch a bus from the hotel entrance directly to JR Hakodate Station. This is incredibly handy, especially given how expensive taxis are in Japan.
The hotel rooms are very spacious. While the facilities are a bit dated, the big plus is that the room comes with a private, continuously flowing hot spring bath – it's not one of those you have to turn on and off with a tap. It's semi-open-air, looking out onto the ocean, so there's no need to worry about privacy. Soaking in the onsen while enjoying the sea view, perhaps with an ice cream [chuckle] – it really doesn't get much more relaxing!
Since we booked a Japanese-style room, staff came to make our beds after check-in. The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary bottled water, bottled tea, and beer. Unfortunately, my family and I don't drink, so we didn't make use of that service [facepalm].
Right next to the hotel is the 'Ichimonji' ramen shop, and the Tropical Botanical Garden, where you can watch monkeys soaking in the hot springs, is just a 300-500 meter walk away. Guests staying at Hanatsuki can also request a window seat at breakfast to enjoy the sea view while they eat.
GGuest UserThe breakfast was terrible, like pre-made meals. There was hardly any decent food, and it was exactly the same for two days straight, with no changes to the dishes at all. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, constantly losing signal and speed. The room felt old and was cramped for two people. It was stuffy; even with the AC off, it was hot, and I woke up every morning with a damp back. There weren't many power outlets, and their placement was inconvenient, making charging a hassle.
エエゾシカ伝道師The staff at the inn were warm and moderate, and I was very comfortable.
While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
In addition, the correspondence of the odor remaining in the room is also firm, and I think it can be comfortable.
It's a hot spring, but you can get the power of the source.
It is a hot spring of great satisfaction!
