Our accommodation for the day was Ichinomatsu, a Japanese-style inn located in Yunokawa Onsen. In front of the entrance, there were two beautiful, well-kept pine trees that fit in well with the Japanese-style building. Our room was at the end of the tatami-floored hallway. It was a Japanese-style room with two sides facing outside, overlooking the garden of the inn and Yuhama Park across the small river. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the room. Dinner was a course called ``Kagara no Zen''. I was looking forward to one of the dishes in this course, ``Kinki fried chicken'', and it was delicious with the sweetness of the Kinki oil. Breakfast included squid sashimi. Squid sashimi is an indispensable part of Hakodate's breakfast, but it seems that the catch has been poor in recent years. Once in a while, it's nice to stay at a pure Japanese-style inn.

A Japanese inn that stands out in Yunokawa Onsen with its high-rise buildings. The inside of the building is highly formal, and attention is paid to details such as the cleanliness of the bathroom. The cuisine is Japanese kaiseki served in the room. It seems that this restaurant's specialty is deep-fried kinki, and a whole kinki, a super-luxury fish, is cooked gorgeously and boldly, yet easy to eat. In addition, all dishes such as sea urchin hot pot are delicious. On the other hand, the horsehair crab, which is added at a reasonable price, is cut to be easy to eat, but it is not as good as the taste you would expect in Hakodate. In other words, I thought that the food that took time and effort rather than the material system was the best here. "If the temporary corona crisis is over, the crowds should return to this inn." I would like you to be a little more patient with the inn and wait for the day when there are many guests.

It was a nostalgic inn full of Showa retro feeling. It's very beautiful, yet unpretentious and relaxing. Both the meal and the bath were very good, but I didn't feel like I was outstanding. Points I was worried about ・It was a room on the 2nd floor, but there was a strange smell. I opened the window and turned on the air purifier, but it bothered me until morning.・Do you not wash your haori every time? Was it worn by someone? I didn't use it because it smelled like I thought it would.・The cloth on the porch chair was torn, and the menu file on the table was torn or quite old. It was disappointing that small places can be maintained each time.・Equipped lotions and milky lotions are so dry that they are completely useless. I think it's better if you bring your own. I chose a pack plan like a ladies' set, so it came with the amenities separately, but since it's a one-time use, I still needed it in the morning.・I didn't notice it at first glance, but it was a pity that cardboard was piled up on the right side of the entrance.・The garden that can be seen from the window of the room is disappointing because the hose is peeling off. The view from the lobby was lovely. What's Good: All the staff are very friendly and helpful.・It is always cleaned so that there is not a single piece of garbage on the floor.・It is within walking distance from the bus stop of the shuttle bus from the airport and the tram station. Since the state of emergency was declared and the patrol bus was suspended, I took a taxi to the Trappistine Monastery for about 1500 yen. It felt a lot closer than around Hakodate station.
