早早定下五一假期到北國（青森+北海道）賞櫻，預想中櫻花線由道南移向道央、道北，於是先訂了函館的酒店，發現4月28-30日的酒店價格漲得厲害，去年十一不到500元（不含早）的普樂美雅居然漲到了1500左右，相比之下，La Vista漲幅不大，考慮到它“日本第二”的早餐（也有人説第一），就訂了29-30日入住La Vista。
但人算不如天算，今年的櫻花開的比往年都早。原來賞櫻的第一站是弘前公園，結果不到4月19號就滿開，到27日確認已經基本凋謝，衹好改變行程，放棄弘前，直奔函館。
考慮到從青森坐新幹線到函館的木古內，然後去松前城，帶着行李會很不方便，到了東京羽田機場就打算直接託運行李到行館的拉比斯達酒店。但是，不管是宅急便也好，日航的ABC也好，羽田機場託運到函館酒店都要三天時間。最後到了青森機場，發現可以在機場的全家便利店把行李託運到函館，隔天上午就可以送到。
玩完松前城，坐道南漁火鐵路到函館站。在海光房吃了晚餐，散步十分鐘左右到酒店，已經是晚上7點多。收拾一下，到頂樓的温泉泡澡，室內和室外各有幾個湯池。泡完澡到外面的休息室，有免費的冰淇淋。坐在落地窗前欣賞對面的函館山，十分愜意。
第二天下去吃早餐稍微有點晚，好像7點多了。門口排了很長的隊，大概排了20多分鐘才進去。領到餐牌放在指定的餐桌上，去拿食物，回來卻發現一對中年日本夫婦佔據了我們的座位，我跟他們説這是我們的座位，他們卻説他們還沒吃完，不知道怎麼就給收走了。叫來服務員，服務員也沒辦法，等了好一會兒才另外安排了兩個窗前並排的座位給我們。這樣的事情在日本還是第一次碰到，讓人十分不爽。
早餐確實還是比較豐盛的，但是似乎也沒有傳説中的那麼驚艷。以前在洞爺湖的乃之風酒店的自助早餐似乎就比它還好。
第二天晚上泡完温泉，去品嚐了免費提供的半份拉麪，味道吧也就這樣，感覺確實還是不錯。
第三天（30日）北海道的道央、道南都在下雨，於是推遲了函館去小樽的時間，早上起得早，6:30就下去早餐，還是排着長長的隊，但因為是第一批，安排了獨立的餐桌，餐食則似乎與昨天完全一樣。
早餐後泡温泉，坐在休息室欣賞雨中的函館山和函館灣。回房間太太化粧，説沒想到面對着函館山和函館灣化粧。
退房結帳，要交150円/人/天的温泉費，合理。打車去函館站，因為拖着行李箱坐公交要走路（下雨）太麻煩，也便宜不了多少。本來應該是剛好一個起步費600円，站前一個紅燈，變成700円。
總之，La Vista性價比在函館的櫻花季還是不錯的，如果是平時，我可能會選擇函館站邊上的酒店，交通方便許多，也更便宜。

非常滿意的酒店，位置緊臨金磚倉庫，步行到函館山纜車和八畈阪10分鐘左右可達，晚上早上都可以過去拍照很方便。
步行至JR站要15分鐘，走一段，但還是推薦入住，兩次來函館都趕上下雨，正好旁邊逛逛金磚倉庫、泡泡温泉打發時間，晚上雨停隨時去八幡阪很近。
早餐不錯，三文魚、魷魚、甜蝦等自製海鮮飯，北海道牛奶也非常好喝，一定不能錯過，外面海鮮飯200多一碗，訂房時候加上早餐競價比很高。
周邊的居酒屋價格較高，一生蠔50，不如去酒店旁邊有個海鮮市場，食材新鮮價格也實惠，自助點餐，經營到晚上18點。

Room was way too hot and stuffy that we were sweating even while standing still. The AC only blew out hot air and could not be adjusted to a cooler temperature. We called the front desk to do something about it but was told straightaway that the only way was to keep the room window opened to let in the cool air from outside. Thr staff gave a scripted standard reply so it seemd the hotel knew all along about this problem from other guests but chose not to do anything about the issue. In opening the room window, we could not get a good night's rest as there were constant traffic noise and sounds of seagulls and motor sounds from boats sailing around the bay throughout the night and early morning. The room curtains were also not blackout curtains so the room was very bright as early as 5 am. Room furnishings such as the chair cushions were old, dirty and very sunken in due to prolonged periods of use. Bath towels also look very old and cheap quality.
Buffet food was good but very crowded and the whole dining area was extremely hot and stuffy making it very difficult to have a comfortable meal.
I would choose comfort over good buffet food anytime and likely not come back to this hotel again.

從弘前穿過輕津海峽，到北海道函館衹需二個小時。雖然函館五稜廓的櫻花很有名氣，而且盛花期是下旬。我喜歡函館的理由不是櫻花，而是這座城市的簡單，有時簡單的讓人感覺不真實………我住的酒店，在海港邊上，地理環境優越、服務和温泉在日夲有些名氣，特別是他家的自助早餐稱作”全日夲第一早餐”，但酒店的招牌衹是一盞壁燈，加拉維斯塔幾個英文字。網紅打卡點”羊羊羊”燒烤店，更是1塊小小羊頭燈箱，但怎麼看就覺有創意，過目不忘。舊倉庫裏賣的是頂級名牌，遊艇和魚船相差無幾，要不是那特有的小丑形象，很難想象是紅遍全球的小丑漢堡……正應了句老話:低調就是腔調。函館是日夲最低調但有腔調的城市。
五稜廓的櫻花、函館山的夜景、元町街的建築、朝市場的海鮮、倉庫羣的商場還是值得去一遊的……
