3 star hotel, not like a Japanese hotel. The hot spring water is good, but it lacks soul without a view. Dinner and breakfast are buffets with a wide variety of options, but the quality is only average, especially the fried beef is of average quality.

Used on the first day of a three-night stay in Hakodate. The guest room was simple and clean, but the large communal bath felt a bit old. I booked with the dinner buffet because I heard that Gotoken curry and other dishes were all-you-can-eat, but it was a disappoin**ent. The Gotoken curry was overcooked (overheated), the beef steak was oil-infused formed meat, and the tempura had a thick, heavy batter. Only the raclette at Hanabatake Farm was tasty.
Breakfast was all-you-can-eat, but to be honest there are many other hotels in Hakodate like that, so I don't think it's anything to write home about.
At 20,000 yen a night with two meals, I think it was neither good nor bad for the price, so I've given it an average rating.
