Hotel room was spacious. Compound was a bit old but overall clean. Onsen was small but still nice to use, with a sauna. Location was okay as long as there is transport, having the shuttle is a nice touch.

An overall very pleasant experience. I stayed there one weekend for two nights and another for three nights.
+ The hot spring bath is very cozy with a nice nature view. The Sauna was great.
+ I wasn't satisfied with one room and could change to another room with large balcony without questioning.
+ The view from the hotel is wonderful, especially during nice weather.
+ Great value for money.
- Dining in the hotel is only possible with reservation, arriving spontaneously for dinner is not possible.
- The bar was closed. But the Gora Brewery is only a 10-minute foot walk away.

I remember visiting with a friend about 10 years ago and the French dinner was delicious, so I went back with my family this time. Dinner was still very delicious and I was very satisfied! I specified a room that had been renovated, so the room was clean and nice. Also, although the hot springs were small, they had both open-air and indoor baths, and the quality of the hot springs was so good that it left your skin smooth. Oshimurak's customer service is quite sloppy (to put it simply, it's easy). Since it was high season, the price was enough to stay at the best hotels in Tokyo (hotels where you can receive the highest level of hospitality), but when you compare it, it's quite inconsiderate, and I wonder if they won't even say that. My impression was that the level of hospitality was not high. However, I didn't feel particularly bad about it, and I was able to respond appropriately. By the way, when I stayed there before, the price was quite low before the renovations (unrenovated rooms are still cheap), so I didn't care about the customer service, and I had the impression that it was an extremely cost-effective hotel. It's natural that the price will go up when you renovate, but if you're going to raise the price, you have to raise the level of service at the same time.I got the impression that it wouldn't be worth it.
