Hakone Elecasa Hotel and Spa

A small luxury property located on a hill in Hakone Miyagino. Since it is located on a hill, the view of Gora's cityscape from the shared terrace and dining room is wonderful. We were also able to see the top of Mt. Fuji. It is especially impressive to be able to see the entire view of Mt. Sounzan right in front of you. If you're going by car, it's a bit difficult to navigate due to the steep slopes and narrow roads, so it's a good idea to check the video on the website beforehand. The room I stayed in was a "superior room with a semi-open-air bath." The view from the room is that you can see the mountains through the gaps in the trees. We were able to spend a comfortable time in the 42㎡ room, which was large enough for two people, large windows on the side, and a clean semi-open-air bath. The food served in the dining room is also wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were Italian and delicious. There was also some good wine. Dinner was seafood pasta, and breakfast was impressive with colorful and beautifully arranged vegetables and quiche. This hot spring hotel is perfect for couples and couples to relax together.

It was an obvious place, but I went over the mountains of Hakone to visit it. There were signboards along the way where you might get lost, so I was able to arrive without getting lost. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the open-air bath in our room while watching the autumn leaves. There are two hot spring baths reserved for men and women, and I think you can have a lot of fun in your room. The food was Italian and the music and lighting were well thought out and good. Overall, the portion was large, and I think I put too much truffle sauce on the last steak. However, the service was good, including two types of focaccia that were freshly baked. At breakfast, we could see Mt. Fuji, which made for a refreshing breakfast. I chose Western food, but it was a continuation of the previous night's meal, so I didn't have much of an appetite. Would it have been better to choose Japanese food? I thought. Overall, it was small and not very luxurious, but it had everything you needed, there was a hot spring, and the staff seemed to take good care of the hotel. I know it will be difficult to manage rooms with open-air baths in the upcoming season, but please do your best.
