It's very good, and it's Japanese style. The Shinjuku Highway Bus goes directly to [Sengoku Plateau]🚉. When you get off the bus, you can see Lawson and walk six or seven minutes to the door of the hotel. If you want to book a taxi for the next day, you have to book it in advance with the hotel front desk. They are full in the morning. In the afternoon, the hotel's shuttle bus will take us to the next hotel (not far away, 2.3 kilometers, within ten minutes). There are only 24 rooms in total, because there are a maximum of 12 tables for each meal. I called the front desk at 18:00 and said that we might be 10 minutes late. We were directly arranged to have dinner at 19:45. The Japanese set menu was served one after another, and the service was particularly good. Very delicious too. We arrived in the room in the evening and it was very warm. They had turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance. It is really cold in Hakone at night during this season. I relaxed as soon as I entered the hotel. After soaking in the hot spring, turn off the air conditioner. Why is it so hot after soaking? Eat and sleep. It was originally a public bath, but maybe we went there late, and it became a private bath at night and during the day. The men's and women's baths change in the morning and evening, and the large bath has an open-air bath.

Disappointed. 2nd visit to Hakone Fuga. Not the same anymore. Where should I even begin. Check-in Process was a disaster. No one noticed that we had arrived nor assisted to carry our luggages from our car. What a huge difference from our first visit to Hakone Fuga. Hotel staff were more focused on domestic tourists than foreign tourist visiting. Despite arriving before 2 couples (domestic tourists), they were allowed to sit at the bar counter and were served more professionally than the front desk staff that served us who did not seem very clear in the check-in process. Furthermore, they placed us at the 2nd level and the staff didn't go the extra mile to carry all our luggages up, and we had to carry some of it ourselves. No suggestions from staff to assist us to carry it down upon check-out, we had to do it ourselves too. No introduction to the room because I mentioned we visited before once, but the room type was different from our initial stay. He carried one of our luggages up, and walked us to our room, and left. Very poor hospitality compared to our first visit The only saving grace was their dinner/breakfast staff at the restaurant as the service there felt genuine and sincere. Fusion food for the dinner course lacked the authentic Japanese experience we were looking for. If you expect to charge your guest almost 99,000 yen per night, please be prepared to UP your service and standards as they have completely fell short from our first visit to Hakone Fuga. We will definitely not return again because the entire experience felt like we were "ghosted" by the hotel staff. If I have to rate the first visit to the second visit, it was 9/10 to 1/10 (service staff efforts dinner/breakfast). Also, if you are going to practice double standards (Japanese Customers vs Foreign Tourist), please do us a favor, don't advertise your ryokan/hotel to international tourists. You completely let us down, Hakone Fuga. We wasted our 99,000 yen on your hotel for 1 night. Other ryokans charged us lower and the service was impeccable. You need to, seriously, REFLECT

We stayed in a room with an open-air bath. It seems to be a facility that renovated a health facility, so it is not luxurious, but the room is large enough for one person to stay. The internet environment is not inconvenient for Hakone, so I think it's suitable for workations. I don't remember much about meals, so I feel like it's okay. For those seeking gastronomy, Hakone has several auberges that serve high-quality cuisine, so we recommend going there. It's a calm and quiet inn, so I could relax and I felt that the cost performance was not bad.

Sengoku Kogen, where you can walk to the pampas grass, is located in a small number of villas and resorts. I liked the customer service. (Although the English signage in the facilities and rooms is poor), there were staff who welcomed foreign travelers (non-Japanese speakers) and served them at the restaurant. It seems to be an inn that renovated a health facility. Exterior and interior materials seem to be elaborate when viewed as parts. Still, the impression of the space production and operation as a whole may differ from person to person. In my case this time, I didn't feel like I received something that was worth the price and exceeded my expectations despite the high price of accommodation and meals (this is the overall evaluation. I express it.) The rooms are small (I don't think it's suitable for families with children). Under such circumstances, the built-in BOSE Bluetooth speaker filled the room with good sound despite being the size of a can of beer. It might be good to relax in such a place. Around the inn, streetlights and lighting catch my eye, but I feel that the night sky is unique to this location. I wonder if this inn will provide a space where I can fully enjoy the stars in the sky.

I made a reservation as soon as the corona restrictions were lifted last fall. I was alone, but I was able to eat in the room and was very relaxed. Perhaps the reason why I was able to eat in the room was for corona measures. Not sure if they are doing it now. The baths for men and women are switched between night and morning, so you can enjoy both. The welcome drink was also delicious. I'm pretty sure it was cold brew coffee.

Used by couples. I had a relaxing time from check-in to check-out. I was satisfied with the wonderful hospitality of the hotel staff, delicious meals while listening to jazz, and the calm atmosphere of the hotel. The only negatives are that the public bath was small and the parking lot was a gravel parking lot a little away.

The hotel is like a hideaway, and I was satisfied with the staff, the food, and the room. Those who expect a large public bath may be unsatisfactory, but our house was satisfied. thank you for helping me.
