Evo Hotel Hakuba
4.1/52 Reviews
We used 2 nights on the three consecutive holidays in February. The location is outstanding and within 30 seconds walk of the Happo Bus Terminal and 1 minute convenience store. The room was large and the toilet (washlet) was very beautiful. The hot spring on the top floor was hot and could not enter for a long time, but the body warmed from the core. This time it was a night stay, so it is unrated about the meal. Even if I asked for early because of the rain, I would check in, and even if I was scheduled to stay alone, I was happy to take it. The grandfather at the front desk (owner?) is certainly unique, but let's laugh and receive it. I didn't ski, so I didn't know it, but I laughed at the fact that it was the most luxurious in Hakuba. It was very kind and kind if you talk about it. I would like to use it if I have another chance.

I stayed on a tour of a travel agency that is good at skiing called JamJam Tour. I think the hotel is mainly open to skiing and boarding customers in winter. In the summer, Trapix and club tourism groups are also accepted. This time, I stayed at the same inn with a tour of two large buses for both nights, but I didn't meet anyone in the hot springs or in the lobby, and I was only with them when I was eating. It was good that the hot springs were reserved and always put in. It's small, but there is an open-air bath, but there is no sauna. The room was a twin room, but there is a sofa in the back and it is large enough. Maybe in winter, the sofa can be made into a sofa bed and can be triple. I could see Kashima spear from the room, but there are many trees 々 around, so there is no good view nearby. Also, it is near the jumping platform in the back of the Hakuba villa, so you can't go to the convenience store by walking. I didn't expect a meal because it was a cheap tour, but it was delicious enough. The restaurant was served by foreign staff, but it was a pleasant response.
Shakespeare Hotel

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 7 nights in late Feb 2020, the hotel itself is accommodating with the services and getting you all set up for the impending slopes. What really gives it 5 stars is the staff who go out of their way to accommodate you in every way needed. From sorting out dinner reservations, picking us up in a shuttle, to finding misplaced gear (after check out). Mychelle, Olivia, and the team are an asset to this hotel and we'll definitely be back. The location being near the bustling restaurants and bars was also amazing.... This was a great experience...... and we loved the daily yoga👍👍
Hakuba sun valley Hotel Annex

Overnight for children's skiing. It's a lift on the slopes across the road, but you need to buy a lift ticket at the ski center, which is about a five-minute walk away. It seems that there is no dinner and there is no large communal bath, but the hot spring is less than five minutes by car. There is no inconvenience to go out to eat. The room was large and comfortable with a family suite. It was a little inconvenient that I couldn't access the drying room directly due to the snow, but there was almost no problem. WiFi was weak indoors. The staff was Chinese but Japanese was OK and they responded very kindly.
Hotel Sejour Mint in Hakuba

We are a couple from New Zealand. During our visit to Japan we stayed at the Sejour Mint. The location is amazing. Very near to the Ski Fields. The staff were amazing, service quality were exceptional. The hotel picked us and dropped us at the Hakuba Station. We also we went to Matsumoto, they drop off and pick up from Kashmiro Station also. The Japanese style breakfast was an amazing experience too. We would highly recommend to all guests visiting Hakuba.
Hakuba Yamano Hotel
4.2/59 Reviews
Yamano Hotel is the ultimate ski chalet in Hakuba. It's situated right across from the 1986 Olympic ski jump and just a short stroll to the Happo-One chair lift. It could even be considered a ski-in and ski-out chalet. The rooms are big and comfortable with gorgeous views of the mountains and the valley. This hotel is a family-owned and run business. The owners Mr. Keita and his wife Monica will greet you from the time you get off the bus to the time you enter the hotel parking area. Mr. Keita is an incredible concierge, always attending to any of your needs and willing to assist you with any information. He also provides a free shuttle to the lift, and if you're tired at the end of the day you can call him and he will be happy to come pick you up, even though it's a short distance. For the additional ski resorts, he is happy to make a reservation for the free morning shuttle. They will pick you up right at the parking lot of the hotel and will drop you off at the same place. So you have easy access to the 7 resorts in the Hakuba Valley right from his doorstep. Once you return from your day in the mountain, you can walk straight into a very spacious heated ski room where you can put your boards and skis on a special rack, warm your boots, gloves, ski pants and jacket so all will be ready to go the next morning. After leaving your stuff in the warm room, you can either step across the hall to enjoy their beautiful onsen inside the chalet that has a hot mineral bath, a cold mountain water plunge bath, and a fantastic wooden and hot rock sauna. An additional perk is the two massage chairs in the laundry area that you can enjoy for free. After relaxing in the Onsen and/or massage chair, you can go back to your comfortable and spacious room and relax until you're ready to have dinner at his restaurant at 6pm. And if you choose to go to other restaurants, several of them are just 5-10 minutes walk away, or there are shuttle buses you can take. The hotel also includes a delicious and abundant breakfast buffet that includes traditional Japanese breakfast of miso soup, fermented beans, Japanese rice and more; traditional American breakfast with several types of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sausage; and traditional Continental breakfast including orange juice, freshly made apple juice, cereals, pastries, and fresh fruit. To summarize our stay at Yamano Hotel, Mr. Keita and his wife Monica made us feel at home and part of their family. That's how well they treat you. This will definitely be the place we stay next time we come to Hakuba.
