Hakuba Highland Hotel

The location is pretty good! The Daikiri furo is very good! Because the hotel is under construction! The service staff took the initiative to give us discount coupons! I think it’s a very thoughtful arrangement! Otherwise, as soon as I arrived at the door of the hotel, I would see the scaffolding workers working on the scaffolding, and I would not feel very good at the moment...

The experience of staying in Ditian, the hotel's management level is very high, the staff are very helpful to the guests, have rich experience in receiving foreign guests, and understand the needs of foreign guests.

The sound of doors opening and closing is loud and wakes me up in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Although it was a non-smoking room, the smell of the air freshener when I checked in was so strong that I felt sick, probably because the previous guest had smoked. Dinner time is decided on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you check in at 5:30, dinner will be at 7:30 and you'll have to wait an hour to take a bath, so you could have arrived at 6:30. The buffet has a lot of variety, but it's all normal and nothing particularly delicious. Is it worth the price? If dinner is late, breakfast is also late, starting at 7:50. It's best to check in early and decide on dinner and breakfast times before heading out.

白馬駅裏の高台に立つホテルです。建物自体はそこそこ年数が立っているようですが、温泉は２つあり、１つは以前からある日帰り湯兼用のものですが（こちらはシーズンと時間帯により混む）、１つは新たに最近建てたようで綺麗でかつ宿泊者専用なので、混み合わず快適ですし、景色も素晴らしいです。泉質はまあまあですね。八方の温泉のようなぬるぬる感はあまり感じなかったです。また立地的に温泉からもロビーからも白馬連峰の素晴らしい景色が望めます。ここが１つの売りですので、可能なら山側の部屋をお勧めします。もう１つ、食事が良かったです。種類が多く、それぞれ美味しいです。部屋はごく普通のホテルです。エレベータが小さいのが１つで時間帯によっては待つのがちょっとイマイチでした。

The pillars and ceiling of the bathroom are made from huge cypress trees, a thing of great value in this day and age. People can soak in the 41°C hot spring water while admiring the white mountains of Hakuba. All the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel changed its policy and all guest rooms are non-smoking from April 2018.

Second stay. Definitely recommended if you want to see the mountain scenery from your room in Hakuba. Even if it's cloudy, the scenery you see will change depending on the wind direction, so you can expect to see a spectacular view for a moment. The room has the feel of a resort from the good old days, but it has the atmosphere of being in a hotel in the Swiss Alps. This time, it was cloudy and I couldn't see the spectacular view from the bath, but I was able to enjoy the view from my room and dining room. I usually sleep with the curtains open. When there is moonlight, you can see the mountains rising from your bed. There is now an observation deck (rooftop of a separate building) that was not there before, and you can now enjoy the scenery when it is fully open. The spiral staircase from the first floor is scary at night, but I thought it would be a good idea to go up it at least once while you can. The shop also has time service, which makes you feel like you're getting a little bit of a benefit, but I felt that if you get a discount for guests, you can shop anytime and feel good. During time service hours, the small shops were crowded, so it was difficult to wander around and make a selection. The only slight difficulty was lining up at the entrance when the meal started. This time, I tried staying at another hotel in Hakuba before staying there, but next time I would like to relax by staying for 3 consecutive nights or more, taking into account that I might not be able to see the mountains due to the bad weather. .

This is my second stay here, the first being 3 years ago. The facilities as a whole are showing their age, but there are no complaints about the staff's service and thoroughness of cleaning. There are so many different and varied hikes to choose from, both in the evening and in the morning, that you won't be able to do them all in one session. There are two baths that we are proud of, and the ones reserved for guests are new and comfortable. It's free to take a bath after checking out, so I stopped by on my way back from Happoike. I would like to use them again.
