Summit Views Hakuba ★★★
"Quiet, peaceful, and close to the ski slopes."
Hakuba Tokyu Hotel ★★★★
"Excellent service! I highly recommend booking dinner here. The breakfast was fantastic, my kids especially loved the soba noodles, and the fruit was delicious too. If you're visiting when there's no snow, you can rent bicycles directly from the hotel. The onsen (hot spring bath) was really good. They also have a very clean laundry room available. And the wine here is excellent!"
Hakuba Canadian Lodge ★★
"This hotel offers a one-bedroom apartment with a living room and a kitchen, plus a washing machine with a dryer, all for the price of a regular hotel room. It's an incredible value for money!"
Hakuba Hotel Paipu No Kemuri ★★★
"The bedding was supportive, and the food was on point. The room's soundproofing wasn't great, but the fridge was quiet, and there was a microwave. The afternoon sun made the room a bit stuffy, but thankfully the AC worked well, though it was a bit noisy. Looking forward to staying here again!"
Hakuba West Coast Inn, Villa ★★★
"It's very ordinary, but the proprietress is very nice."
Hakuba Highland Hotel ★★★
"The accommodation is elegant, and the location is quiet and comfortable, though the room is a bit small. The food is great and highly recommended."
Ringo Lodge Hakuba ★★
"The room was tidy and clean. It has an onsen and is very peaceful."
Casa Kokoro Hakuba ★★★
Pension Serenade ★★
"The owner was a really nice guy; he even gave us a big bag of bread when we left. 😁"

The Happo by Hhg
"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hakuba Happo Station. The hotel has a bus that can be used at any time. The facilities are rated 4.5 points because the refrigerator in the hotel is really noisy. I am considered a deep sleeper, but I was woken up by the refrigerator in the middle of the night. Everything else is good. You can walk to Lawson. Because I went there on November 1st, many stores were closed, but you can foresee how many people there will be during the ski season."
Hakuba Ryujin Onsen
"Good Onsen."
Hatago Maruhachi
"Good view and good facilities."
Reposer Hakuba
"There is a pick-up service to the ski resort, which needs to be booked in advance. It is very convenient. It can also pick up and drop off at the bus station and other places. The service is very good. Breakfast and bar drinks also need to be confirmed in advance."
Marukin Ryokan
"I stayed in early October, and the hotel was sparsely populated. The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the onsen was excellent, with a window overlooking a small garden. The room was traditionally decorated, had everything you needed, and the futon was very comfortable. I was very happy with everything! If I come back to Huckabee, I'll definitely stay here!"
Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba
"The family amenities are very thoughtful. They offer a children's menu for dinner, a snow play area for kids in the yard, and complimentary popsicles are available after enjoying the hot springs."
Hakuba Moegi Hotel
"We stayed with a group of friends for 4 nights. Rooms were a little dated but I liked the 70s wallpaper and it was very clean and homely. While the bathroom was very small (like a motorhome capsule) the room was spacious, with couch and desk, and the bed was very comfortable and warm. My husband is tall 6 feet so he struggled a bit with the little bathroom but there is another biggest guest toilet and the public bath downstairs so it less of an issue. There was also plenty of hot water and good water pressure - so I enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and gear that was sent straight on was in people's rooms, bookings were made for us, there is a pick-up and drop-off service for the station and they help arrange for gear to be sent on to your next hotel. There are also lovely cookies for sale at the front desk - I might have had too many. The breakfast is basic continental, but there is a microwave and the coffee machine is there to use all day. The lounge and dinning room is welcoming and relaxing with the big open fire. The location is great for skiing at Happo One and very near the shuttles for other fields. It is up a hill when coming back from shops and restaurants and you have to walk up stairs (with your bags), so if that's an issue for you be aware. The ski room downstairs was good and there is lots of space to store gear and two washing machines and dryers to use for a few dollars, which was really helpful. I would recommend this little hotel and stay again."
Hotel Oak Forest
"Had a great stay at Hotel Oak Forest. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, with two futons already laid out for us and two more stored in the wardrobe, as this room was meant for up to four people. The heater/air conditioning worked well and could be adjusted individually, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was comfortable and included a relaxing bathtub. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay."
Evo Hotel Hakuba
"Great boutique hotel right beside Happo Bus Terminal. Newly renovated/built with beautiful decor & rooms. There was a sakura tree just outside our window & alps view out another window. Lawsons & a public bath just across the road + shuttle bus service to both Goryo & Happo resorts. It was pretty empty as it was Spring but the views in the area was still breathtaking. Highly recommended for Golden Week travels!"
Hakuba Mominoki Hotel
"It is a very nice hotel and breakfast is very good also the hotel have a nice Onsen."
Square 8 Hakuba Retreat by Unplan
"Convenient location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, free drinks and complimentary rice. The staff provided excellent service."
Hotel la Vigne Hakuba by Onko Chishin
"Spacious, clean and well furnished. Team of staff was very helpful and took good care of guests. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus to Hakuba 47 and happo one which was really convenient. They also do transfers to hakuba JR station and bus station. It’s nearby to the other public shuttle bus stops to get to other ski resorts."
Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba
"The Hakuba Hotel prices are generally on the higher side, but this one offers pretty good value for money. It's a room over 40 square meters, perfect for a family of four, with two beds and a tatami area. You just need to lay out the tatami futon yourself. There's a free shuttle to Hakuba ski resort, though the schedule is a bit limited."
Hotel Hakuba
"Easy to get to, beautiful views, good service from staff, quiet and peaceful, no noise disturbance at all."
