Perfect location surrounded by restaurants ! Best street in Hakuba - Bus pick ups to all different mountains close to out front - Breakfast was included which is awesome to have before you go off to ski for the day and not have to go out and find a place to eat - The staff were fantastic in every way and Olivia the manager is outstanding and goes above and beyond to assist you with whatever you need - I left my phone down the road at a restaurant and had to catch the bullet train early next day and did not have time to grab my very expensive new phone as they were closed early morning. I contacted Olivia and after we worked together to get the phone delivered back to the Shakespeare hotel, she personally went to the post office and packaged it up with bubble wrap and made sure it was secure in a box and sent it back to me in Australia at no charge to myself - I offered to pay but she said "No all part of the service" . I had it in my hand again 8 days later - OUTSTANDING !!!!!!! The staff are fantastic - The rooms are great and super clean - Highly recommend !!!

We got the delux room in the main building. The space was divided nicely to accommodate 4 people and having the living area with seating was nice and spacious. The good: English speaking front desk that is open 24 hours, Dry room for gear, coffee/tea available in main lobby, microwave and coin laundry available downstairs. The front desk will readily assist with arranging a taxi or luggage transport service. The hotel was easily recognized by taxi drivers so there was never a need to provide directions. The so-so: Our room didn’t have enough outlets so we kept unplugging the floor lamps when the overhead lights were too dark on their own; price was too high compared to other accommodations; Some staff appear to be hired for their English speaking abilities and not trained on knowledge about all the things hotels are asked to arrange. Overall a pleasant experience but expensive for what you get.

宿泊した日は、近くでイベントがありバイカー集団の方たちも宿泊していたせいでロビーや朝食時は、とてもうるさかったです。

Olivia and her team were very warm, welcoming and helpful. Shakespeare Hotel is very charming, has everything you need and it is located conveniently close to Base Camp where you catch the shuttle to the mountains.

I stayed for 3 days whilst my friends apar**ent had guests. The hotel staff were lovely, the room was small but clean and did what it needed. Location is very good. Would recommend.

From 19:00 until morning, hotel employees

The remote control for the TV was broken and I couldn't operate it,
