Not good, the room is very humid, the water is salty, too simple, breakfast and dinner have to be paid extra, the price-performance ratio is very low, I wanted to return, but the way in and out is too difficult, so in the end I could only make do with one night, and the next day I went to the park and quickly escaped from this damn place

We spent 2 nights in Mahoora Yala and it was fantastic! The tent was super big and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the environment and the wildlife. We enjoyed the afternoon walk and the full day safari even more (saw 3 leopards thanks to our very experienced safari guides!). We definitely recommend going to Mahoora!

Complete disappoin**ent. The gave us different rooms that the ones we booked . The towels were ripped and dirty. We asked for first aid kit and there was almost nothing available to care for an injury. The dinner portions were very small and did not deserve the additional 20 dollars. The got mad at us because we did not booked a safari with them and refused to pick us up from the road even though the Google location they have use was wrong. Please don’t waste your money there.

We let our tour agent book our accommodation so when we saw we had a premium tent and saw the web pictures we were excited. On arrival it was a disaster. The tent had three small camp beds and a curtained shower room which was dirty and the tent stank of Urine. We asked what had happened as we went back online and saw the tents which we thought we were having and they were available. Promised to upgrade next day but after a gruelling 13 hour safari we were told it was not possible to move us. As my son it 6feet 3 and I am the same but 18 stone we did not sleep properly for the two nights. When we did sleep we were woken by the smell of Urine. The bathroom pipes ran out into the bushes. The most disgusting accommodation I have ever seen

This is a nice place but the pics on here they posted didn't really look anything like the tent we got. Overall, I had a good experience though. First the good stuff. The staff were great and friendly, and the food was good. The vibe at dinner was fun. The game drives were outstanding and we saw all the animals. On the negative side of things, our tent didn't look like the pics they posted on here. During the drives, our guide was just talking to the people in the front and the people in the back couldn't hear what he was saying. They don't have drinks or snacks on the drives. Not a big deal but it was super hot when we went and cold drinks would have been welcomed, especially for what we paid. It would be a nice touch to have a welcome drink when you arrive and come back from game drives. Also, when it's hot, the little fans in your rooms don't offer much relief and there isn't really a way to cool off. Also, there isn't a sign to get to the camp from the main road, so our Uber driver got lost. They should add a sign so it's clear where they are located.

The campground is spacious and beautiful. The tent is clean and luxurious and comfortable. The BBQ at the campfire was cozy under a starry sky, but the meat was not great, tough and lukewarm. We had ordered a bottle of white wine in advance, but it was not great. There is an activity price so definitely not recommended, a beer is good. Then we had the complete package for 2. The afternoon walk was not much. You only see rubbish around the camp, lots of plastic. And the evening walk was a total joke. Unfortunately we had a morning safari where we saw nothing at all. And the jeep we were in was really an old barrel with worn and suffocating seats. All things considered, definitely not worth the money. We were really looking forward to this but it was a big disappoin**ent.

Great experience, the decoration of the curtain should be improved and a better solution for the shower found. Think about asking for a blanket: it's cold in the evening. Missing shower pressure. Mentioned "foot massage" included, in reality we discovered it was a basin of hot water (don't be disappointed)

Travis and his team create a wonderful safari experience. The tents are nice, clean, but especially the service-oriented approach is fantastic. We were seen and pampered from the first to the last minute. Beautiful form of eco tourism!
