We stayed at the Hyperion Hamburg for one night during our roadtrip through Europe. Arriving by car is very convenient, since the hotel is located close to a major road and offers garage parking with direct access to the hotel. Also, the location is great for sightseeing, as most of the city center is reachable by foot. We got a nice big corner room on one of the upper floors, with great views, comfortable beds, and lots of space for the 3 of us (2 adults and one child). The breakfast was very good, with many different options.

Great location, fantastic views and perfect layout for our family. We were traveling with our 16-month old son and they provided a very comfy crib for his sleep and the room worked out great. It was already my 5th time at the hotel this year, so I can say that the service is of a very constant factor. Check-in was again very smooth, and even though we checked in around noon, the rooms were already ready. Again I received a nice upgrade, and this room was also perfect. The rooms feel like you are coming home a little bit. The bathroom was also spacious and had a large walk-in shower. I had a great breakfast in the morning, and I can really recommend the chef who makes all different egg dishes, again a delicious omelet. Until next time.

Recommended again and again! A real luxury hotel where (almost) everything is right. We have been there several times and are always very impressed with the room, staff and especially the breakfast. Only this time there was a problem with the heating, it couldn't be turned on, a valve was broken. Unfortunately, this was not fixed until the third complaint on our part. Defects can occur, no problem, but then they have to be fixed quickly.

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights 21st June / 23rd June and my stay was faultless. I had booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double. The room was very large and spotless, with a lovely bathroom with a large walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold choices. The breakfast room was lovely and the staff were always clearing away the used plates etc. The staff at the check in were always smiling, and were extremely polite. I have to say the breakfast staff were the same. Be aware that the room key envelope also caters for your free travel ticket. This is one of the best Hotels I have ever used. Other Hotels could learn from this Hotel, re how it treats their guests. A faultless stay...well done to all members of staff.

The beautiful, large lobby, which reflects the long history of the hotel is hugely impressive whilst the rooms are stylishly modern. My room had plenty of room for storage (often lacking in many hotels), a very comfortable double bed and an immaculate, well designed large bathroom. Breakfast offerings were exceptional and it was good (and rare) to be able to have items cooked to order. The lobby cafe/bar was pleasant but service was disappointingly slow. Although these are difficult times due to the pandemic, it was a great shame that the restaurant and bar were both closed. Given that most other hospitality premises had reopened in Hamburg, I found it odd that the hotel had not been able to open them and had not publicised that fact more openly on their website.

Fantastic service from Paulina. She checked me into the hotel efficiently. Told me all about the services offered by the hotel. She was friendly and helpful. I had asked her to help me pay a traffic ticket that was written in German. She read the ticket, translated and helped me figure out how to pay it. Thank you. The hotel was under renovation but the room was very nice. It was quiet and had a nice view of the canal. The location is very central-walking distance to most sites and to the shopping areas. Would definitely stay here again.

As I travel very frequently for leisure and business I have a broad frame of reference. This hotel has positively surprised me. Many hotels still use Covid as an excuse to strip down their service. Not this one: extremely friendly, helpful and anticipating reception staff (big compliment and thank you to Uwe Ahlburg at the reception - one of a kind customer oriented top professional - really OUTSTANDING). You get water, slippers and full amenities in your room. They offered a second bottle at check in just in case that you dont have to walk down again. Hotel still offers desinfection everywhere. Room is clean and was desinfected. Beds are very comfy, room not huge but big enough, bathroom has sufficient space to deposite all items, light is good and magnifying mirror is effective. Only item to improve is the coffee was only decaf and not sufficient milk powder and I could hear a bit from other guest through connection door. Check in and out very effective. Asked for a taxi in a hurry and staff walked over for me to get it as fast as possible. Its not a luxury 5 Star super fancy place but if back in HH I’d still prefer it over those as in the end service makes the difference and not the price / look of the furniture. Excellent value for money.

Excellent location, Messburg U-Bahn literally outside the door. Very friendly, helpful staff. Early check-in not a problem. Relaxing and quiet bar to enjoy a drink before heading out for the evening. Very clean hotel, rooms to a very high standard. We had a corner room so huge window and lots of light. The bathroom had a walk-in shower which was great. Felt like excellent value @ under €70 per night (not including breakfast). The one negative (which did not warrant a complaint as we were otherwise very satisfied with the room) was that the 'double' bed was 2 single beds, 2 single mattresses, 2 single sheets. I actually fell though the 2 beds one night and was lucky not to be injured! But as mentioned, we were otherwise delighted with the corner room so did not want to move. Will happily return again in future.

We stayed at the Henri Hotel for almost a week and could not have been happier. The location is great! 5 minutes to Hauptbahnhof and about 5-10 minutes to the major hall. We loved the decor and atmosphere of this place. Our room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Wow! Another plus were sound proof windows and a working AC! Staff was incredibly friendly each we needed them and the breakfast was delicious! We would totally stay there again. A gem of a find!

This is a modern Ibis and it met my expectations on every level. It is less than 10 minutes from the central railway station and there is a U-bahn station within 5 minutes walk. Be careful at the entrance to the U-bahn, some unsavoury types hang around. The main shopping area is 10 minutes away. The hotel was busy, check in smooth, the room clean and warm. Couldn't really have asked for more.

Close to the central station, clean rooms, friendly staff, Not the best area but felt safe, close to all transport, will definately use again, was allowed to leave baggage at reception after checkout time. Elevator still doesn’t work if anyone is wondering. We liked the place itself. Apartment was pretty basic but clean. Nothing much about the place itself to say or complain about. The location is another story. It’s close to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) where a lot of unfortunate down and out people hang around. As we were walking to the hotel at around nine pm someone with drug and/or psychiatric problems approached us and followed us to the door, talking in German the whole time. In the doorway two guys were sitting and offered us drugs but they were very polite and chill about it. All in all, an alright place, but maybe great for families (which isn’t the hotel’s fault).
