Das Hotel ist zentral und ruhig an der Außenalster gelegen! Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, haben aber leider Teppichboden. Das macht das Ganze gemütlich, aber was sich alles im gemütlichen Teppichboden tummelt möchte niemand wissen! Das Personal ist sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch im Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Alles in allem auf jeden Fall, trotz Teppichboden, auch im nächsten Jahr unser Hotel in HH.

Wir waren das 2. mal in Folge im „The George“. Die Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Balkon und Blick auf die Alster sind unsere Favoriten! Das Hotel ist picobello sauber und sehr komfortabel. Alle Menschen im Service, egal in welchem Bereich, sind aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und kein Wunsch bleibt offen. Wir lieben die Lage im Georgs Viertel und sind zu Fuß oder mit S/U-Bahn unterwegs. The George ist auch beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch unser Hotel der Wahl.

Unser absolutes Lieblingshotel in Hamburg. Das Ambiente ist immer super und wir fühlen uns sehr wohl hier. Kommen sehr gern jederzeit wieder. Es gibt hier so viele Kleinigkeiten, die den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis machen, vielen Dank dafür!

Super schönes Hotel in Top Lage. Das Team ist mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende. Dachterrasse mit View, leider ohne Service. Innenhof/Garten sehr schön angelegt und bietet sich an zu verweilen. Bar gut ausgestattet

Toller Aufenthalt nahe der Alster Ideal zum joggen am Morgen-einfach traumhaft. Das lange Frühstück und die späte check out Zeit waren hierzu ideal. Gediegenes Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt Stylish gemütliche Zimmer mit super tollem Duschgel… Ein richtig schönes Hotel- ein gelungener Kurztrip nach Hamburg

This is a really terrific hotel to tuck into in a nice neighborhood in Hamburg. 9 days on my own and I needed a home away from home. The rooms are comfortable, spotless and well laid out. A little balcony is a nice touch too. Lovely decor and great bedding. Room service- the food was delicious and the delivery was beyond fast. Amazing Italian Restaurant downstairs. Roof deck and a sauna too. So lots of amenities. The gorgeous Alster Lake is just down the block- with cafes to sit and watch the sailboats zip by. A sweet shopping area a few blocks away with lots of little bakeries and eateries. There was a mix up with my booking- and it was truly a misunderstanding. The hotel did not have to amend my bill- but they chose to do so and were incredibly gracious about it. I have stayed at the George in Vancouver and this hotel group is extremely professional and exceptional.

The rooms are comfortable. Bathroom small but well done. Room service is amazingly quick and the food quite good. The front desk staff as mentioned in other reviews, pay zero attention to your comings and goings. No hellos. No goodbyes. They don't even look at you. The gorgeous lake is just down the block and there is a nice area for some shopping and casual dining a few blocks away. Other than the disinterested front desk team, it's a perfectly lovely place to stay.

Bien sûr, voici une version améliorée de votre avis : Nous avons séjourné trois nuits pour un long week-end. Les chambres sont belles, spacieuses, propres et très bien décorées. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux avec un large choix de mets sucrés et salés. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose une excellente carte italienne avec un vaste choix de vins. Cependant, la carte des vins est trop chère, avec aucun vin rouge en dessous de 60 € et aucun vin blanc en dessous de 45 €. Nous avons opté pour les tagliatelles au parmesan et à la truffe, servies avec tout un cérémonial qui ajoute une touche de spectacle au repas. Le personnel est extrêmement aimable et attentionné. Un gros bémol toutefois concernant la qualité des oreillers, qui ne sont pas assez épais, donnant l'impression de dormir sans oreiller. Malgré cela, nous reviendrons certainement en raison de l'emplacement idéal de l'hôtel, situé dans un quartier calme et proche du centre-ville.
