Sasha served us at the bar and did a phenomenal job! The Espresso Martini and Bloody Mary were delicious. The seating area was very spacious, and the ambience was very nice; it was a great spot to catch up with friends after a long day of work conferences.

Stayed here at the courtyard Hampton in, VA. Came in late at night but was greeted and welcomed. Sasha! Sunny! Everyone makes you feel so cared for and welcomed. Way to go!! Great service!! Great coffee. We had a problem with our shower drain not draining and we got a new room.

The concierge at check-in was friendly and helpful. However, at checkout, we waited 12 minutes to checkout while the concierge helped another hotel staff serve coffee to 2 guests while there were 5 guests on line to be checked out. Also, there were 2 towels in our room for 4 guests. When my cousin asked for extra towels, she was told there were none. She was given hand towels instead. There were no sheets for the sofa bed, which also has large red stains. We didnt know if it was blood or dye. Either way, the cushions should've been removed and cleaned before other guests used the room.

Being that I travel so much I decided to come back to the newly renovated courtyard marriott. This location is spacious quiet and close to everything I needed to be close too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Taryn made sure I was able to check in with no problems even though she was swamped by the large group of people that was there. She was super nice and very professional, knowledgeable and was able to give me insightful information on things nearby. I will definitely be back. I give her service 10 out of 10

While it is understandable that some hotels are due for renovation, the reason for the average review is that in my opinion this hotel is poorly maintained. Some of the floor trim was missing in the room, and a utility panel in the room was falling off of it's hinges. The bed was nice, but the desk chair was stained, and fixtures in bathroom were rusty. It was clean, just not well maintained.

What can I say about this hotel… First, Taryn the front desk attendant was amazing. She greeted us after our long drive from Philadelphia like we were coming to her home. She was warm, accommodating, and efficient at her job. She checked my family in quickly and was accessible throughout our stay, which was wonderful. I am not certain if she is a manager, but she should be because if I can receive this type of hospitality from every Marriott Courtyard, this is the only hotel chain I would reside. Thank you, Taryn for restoring my faith in good customer service.

My visit occurred before Christmas. I fell in line be with the location as well as the facility. I love the staff who were more than helpful and hospitable. I definitely will return during the spring and summer month.

Staying for an undetermined amount of time and Sasha at the Bistro made it feel like home. She maintained a friendly atmosphere and welcoming attitude that brought me back each night. She was able to juggle the kitchen and bar while making sure every guest was taken care of.
