There’s a smell in the elevator as well in my room as there’s no ventilation system to filter the air.

Had a lovely stay in Hefang Hotel. They were very helpful on the front desk and the check in process was smooth. The location was great, within walking distance of the West Lake. The room was fairly standard and I have no major complaints. They have a really great communal area where you can sit and play some games, plus their buffet breakfast was pretty good. Reeeally great coffee shop just a few doors to the right if you can find it.

Booked a rooftop windowed room to see the stars at night. But the window was too dirty to lookout from the inside, staff was not helpful, room is small and smelly but ok for short stay. Great historical hangzhou ambiance good location but old amenities

This is the hotel with the worst internet connection that I have stayed in in the past 20 years. It is not easy to log in to the internet of this hotel even if I ask the staff for help.
