Hanting Hotel (Hangzhou Wulinmen Subway Station) Reviews

The first room the assigned to us was very dirty as if it was never cleaned. Smell of cigarette smoke was strong in the hallway and seeped into our room. Had to sleep with window open in freezing winter otherwise suffocated by the smoke. Next day we requested change of room which was slightly cleaner but the cigarette smoke was never resolved. Apparently there was no control and local guests were just smoking in their room and even lobby (staff did not say anything). Room cleaning was only to take our trash and housekeeping staff did not even clean the floor or bathroom until you asked her to do so. Please be careful when you book a room because they may assign you a room on 16/17 floor which requires climbing stairs (many guests complained about this).

If all you want is a bed to crash then this is fine and the location convenient. But if you think you might spend some time inside the room then I suggest choosing one of the many more expensive alternatives nearby where carpets and floors are clean and rooms don’t stink of stale cigarette smoke.

Hotel was in ok location, not so far from metro, walkable distance, but the perks is it's in the center of almost everything-walking distance. The lake view is splendid, and staff was lovely to allow me to check in early

Really good reviews, good reviews, I stayed on the 13th floor, the room had a great view and was close to the subway station. The room was very clean and the front desk service attitude was really great!! It was raining heavily in Hangzhou, the front desk provided umbrellas, and check-in was also very fast! The room was well lit and very quiet! It was really a very satisfying stay! Good reviews!!

The location is good, close to the subway station, and it takes more than ten minutes to ride a bike to the West Lake. The room is quite large and clean, but there are not enough tables and chairs in the room, and there is no place to hang wet clothes.

I don't know if it was a special room or what, but the cleanliness of the corridor and the loft-style room are quite special! There was hair left by the previous guest under the pillow in the room!
